a necessity for any computer

It is simple and easy to use and has already removed a few viruses that have gotten on my computer. It also does a great job of preventing viruses from downloading at all. It does use a lot of memory when it's doing its daily scan, but the scans take less than a minute, so it's not a problem.

Excellent product; good defender for most viruses.

It worked very well against most viruses, however I am uncertain about its defense of trojan horses. Those were usually detected by a computer tech, but it was good about warning me of dangerous pages to avoid.

It was recommended to us by the tech at the store. We have had no problems with it or the computer, related to security issues. The price was comparable to other security programs.
