Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used different antivirus products such as McAfee, Norton (I feel this is highly overrated and not totally effective) and a couple of others. I have found Webroot to be the most effective, less intrusive and easiest to use. I do a good deal of Internet shopping and surfing and Webroot advises me if a site I am trying to visit may be dangerous and infected, suspicious or possibly contain viruses and gives me the option to continue or back out of it. When I choose to back-out it automatically scans my device to ensure nothing secretly infected it. I've got this installed on 3 devices and it was a quick simple installation on all three.
