I use Windows Defender

I've never once used it. I'm sure it's excellent, but it's also a paid antivirus, antimalware after the initial trial period is up. Defender is free, and I've found it to be all I need to protect my laptop. I know McAfee makes the computer much slower, as I would imagine every paid antivirus software does to make you feel like it's actually doing something. I'm sure this one is no different. My recommendation is just stick with the free windows defender and check for updates daily and run a quick scan daily. Like a digital vitamin.

Webroot Secure

As often as there are virus threats out there, I wouldn't want my computer left at risk. This software is also very easy to use. It allows you to set up auto scans at times that you aren't going to be on the computer so it will not interrupt you when you are working.
