Did not play nicely with my new Surface pro 4
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Because I loaded web root first, it screwed up my surface pro 4 and wouldn't allow it to do all necessary updates. Even the Geek Squad couldn't figure out why my brand new computer wouldn't work out of the box. They actually replaced my computer 3 times (loading webroot on all 3 new computers). I had to call Pakistan and they noticed the only program loaded was Office and Webroot so they uninstalled both...loaded back office and Voila, my new expensive computer worked like a charm. Than ks for nothing Geek Squad!

It seemed to be redundant with the current Windows Defender (free from Microsoft). Also, after hitting a couple of compatibility snags, I read on the internet that other people had the same complaint. So I ended up uninstalling it.
