Finds viruses without any effort on the part of the user. You don't have to remember to run the program. All is done on it's own.

I have used Webroot for 2 years and I have loved it with one BIG caveat. This year when it was time to renew I was offered a renewal at a ridiculously high price. When I called customer service to try to get a similar deal to a new packaged product I was greeted with rudeness and zero interest in retaining current customers. I was told that the deals online are for first time customers only. Gee, thanks for the love Webroot.... NOT! Please note that I am referring to customer service and not technical service. I cannot comment on tech support as I have never needed it. If I had had more time to do research into other options I would probably have ditched them in search of a company that actually WANTS returning customers. As for the software itself I have had no problems with it. I have it running on all 5 of my computers. It has caught many viruses, has a small footprint and runs quickly and efficiently. I would have given it 5 stars if not for the nasty customer service. Here's a tip Webroot - your company is judged as much for your product as for your customer service. If you treat your current customers poorly you have now created former customers. I'll be sorry to see you go this time next year.
