Took it to Best Buy's Geek squad and they said Chromebooks do not have enough room for the security software to be uploaded. Just maybe the Best Buy Geek squad should communicate to sales assoc. before unnecessary purchases are recommended to customers.

I also got the Webroot program when I bought my own HP laptop. Is this a trial use for 30 days, or do you actually get a 1-3 year subcription? Because I cannot get the webroot program to work from the website even though it says I can use it on 3 devices for at least a year. It worked for a month...but if I am going to have to buy it now becuase I didn't actually get the program, then I will shop around or run Microsoft Defender.
