It was a promo given free when I purchased the computer on a 6mo trial. The computer itself comes with a 6mo free trial of McAfee, so what's the point of installing this since the trial begins on the date when acquiring / purchasing?

Have NOT loaded it onto my laptop and don't intend to--will stick with the known security applications such as McAfee. Have cancelled this so not charged for beyond the trail period.
