Took it into the Geek Squad who cleaned it, restored my files, and installed Webroot. That fixed the problem and I’ve had no further virus issues. Well worth the money!

Laptop wipe

I haven't had any problems with Webroot. For myself, that's good news. I've used it to update drivers on my laptop,which was wiped completely due to malware. I had to start with Windows 11.
