Just had it installed in early June of this year, but don't know what it has done for me yet. I had recently suffered data corruption and data loss due to malware, and Webroot was added to clean up the mess, So far, I am only running into some different troubles.

maybe too soon to tell. claims to do scans but how do i tell for sure.

Would not let me load it. I finally had to pay money for the Geek Squad to install it.

It appears to be catching all of the bad coming in via emails. Runs a monthly analyst report which is nice as well.

What a great product. Service is always good and the protection and Best Buy help is outstanding. Would recommend.

a employee sold me this web protection plan. It was not comparable with my new device. Had to return, Talked to service dept. Was told she should have never sold me this item. Employees need to be more aware of the products they are pushing the customer to buy. Very unhappy with the experience.

The anti-virus plan doesn't worth the money and its difficult to install.

Originally priced at 49.00 for 1 year, after loading it I found my. Card was charged TWO more times for over 100.00 $ I filed a complaint with my bank to settle the issue and deleted the software from my system, it required several days to get it out so I reset my system back and reloaded everything except that. Not buying that ever again!! Do what you want but they are scam artists!

I bought it because I was told by a store associate I needed it. After purchase and a few weeks later, I was told I didn’t need because I had also purchased the 1-year Total Protection

Easy to set up and use good value when you sign up fir the longer term

Many viruses and scams are not detectable. I received too many strange Ads. I do feel unable to protect myself from these attacks. But BestBuy ask too much money to pay.

I’ve used Webroot before and I love it. However the new laptop with Windows 11 won’t let me install it. So sad. Probably going to have to pay the Geek Squad to install it for me. I hadn’t anticipated that expense.

Too complicated for me to understand & print is too small for me to read comfortable.Surely, I'm not the only senior citizen w/diabetic retinaopathy? Long as it protects my computer from a virus, I'm happy.

Laptop was in store for 3 days [3.17-3.18] and got receipt that Webroot installed. It was not. I checked . Macaffee was still there!! Got a best buy email day later to download install Webroot !!!?? This after i signed 5 docs and paid for install. Spent total of 3 documented hrs w/ their tech support 12 time zones away in ...'porta potty'?? using secure login to get it finally done after I mentioned PA consumer affairs Dept. !!!! 3Hrs. !!!! Should typically take < 10 minutes!!!! Local store [Fairless Hills] does not take calls . Should have downloaded myself. Geek squad should change name to another 4 letter word.

Easy to use and install but not as easy to change setting

I was told in the store they sold me this and for whatever reason it is not on my laptop and I have no way to install it

I HAD A PDF FILE WITH MY PASSWORDS ON NY ICON SCREEN THAT I DID NOT GENERATE. THIS AFTER I DELETED A FILE CONTAINING PASSWORDS. HOW DID THIS HAPPEN WITH YOUR MONITORING?
