    It was a joy to have. I can turn my light on and off with my Alexa. But it was short lived, like it Alexa never knew of it.

      As long as the remote access is enabled your Alexa should be able to detect and control the Wemo mini. You might also try to relink the Wemo device to see if there are changes to the behaviour.

    This is handy when it works, it loses it's internet connection often. We have several smart bulbs that we have no issues with.

    This wifi plug worked ok, with the exception of making a loud clicking sound everytime it turned on and off.

    It’s annoying having the bulkly plug as I prefer to have the inwall sockets but these have thier uses when you are in a pinch.

    App is terrible. Takes a while to find and connect a device. Updating the devices can take hours.

      The Wemo App lets you control your home appliances and electronics through your Wemo devices using your mobile device. You can try to update the Wemo app version and use the Wemo app on a different mobile device to see if that has any difference.

    We thought it would be a great thing to use when we are out of town for our garage door. Our WiFi wasn’t strong enough

    Good - small so only covers one plug and could use Google Home to turn lights on and off. Bad - can be extremely difficult to connect to wifi due to poorly written software. A recent software update bricked one of the four units. I just updated to Google wifi mesh and it will not connect to Home anymore so have to use my cell phone. Belkin needs to get with it and write better software. Until then, I will not buy anymore of them.

    Good plug, but still has a few bugs. Once in a while, app and Google home will not communicate with plug.

      There are factors that could've caused the challenge as the setup process is normally fast and easy. Check if the router uses WPA, WPA2 or WEP security type and if the 2.4GHz network is set to broadcast as the device may experience difficulties if it's hidden.     Works good when it wants too. Only works on 2.4 Ghz and I was able to fix it. But then it drops randomly.

      Our Wemo F7C063 and other Wemo devices only work with the 2.4-GHz of the network. If the Wemo F7C063 shows as not detected in the Wemo App when connected locally, then you may try to force close the Wemo App, and power cycle the Wemo device for isolation.
