The plug works pretty well and works seemlessly with Alexa. The only problem I’ve had with it is if the power goes out with the light on, the light doesn’t turn back on after the power returns. It’s a little pricey, as well, but other the aforementioned issue, I’ve had very little problem with it.

My 1930’s cottage doesn’t have as many wall switches as I was used to. For example there is no switch to turn on a light when leaving the bedrooms. Now instead of relying on night lights I can just ask Alex to turn the light on. She answers ok and boom there is light. Way cool! Now we just need the flying cars...

I have several wemo switches. They frequently lose connection and need to be reset. But, knowing that I do not have them performing important functions. If you want reliability hard wired sockets are bullet proof. If you want to turn a lamp on these switches will do that.

This is a huge improvement over the previous generation. My biggest complaint was that the plug made it difficult to plug other stuff into the lower outlet. Now that they have changed to this design it is way easier to plug other stuff in and I can also pick which outlet I want to use. It is also quicker to respond on the app as well.

After receiving two of these mini plugs several years ago as a gift I bought two more since the device works very well. After a software update that improved the Wemo app the user friendliness was great. Then the software was updated to work with the Apple Home app so the devices work well with my iPhone.

I bought this, set it up within minutes. My Echo was able to find the switch and all is well. I have had no issues at all with it, my only gripe is the price. This will not make me want to buy several of them. How about a price bundle? Like 5 for $100? The price is the only reason for the deduction in rating.

I got this to turn a lamp in my living room on for when we are away. I have bought other wemo light switches and they are easy to use and install. Helps give your home a lived in look while away or lets you light up the inside of your home as you get home late in the evening.

Adding to HomeKit was a breeze. Wish it support for a 5gz network but luckily I have 5 and 2.4. Works flawlessly and quick response time with Siri or HomeKit. Also works with Alexa great. I’d prefer a bit of a smaller plug but it does the job and doesn’t block the other outlet.

I have a floor lamp at the corner of the room and connected to a hard to reach wall plug. Simply connect the WeMo to the wall plug and connect the floor lamp, now I don't have to get to the corner in order to turn on / off the light. The WeMo also connect to Siri, so a simply commnet and there is light.

This smart plug in was a great tool to have around the holidays. My wife loves Halloween and Christmas so when we didn’t make it home in time she would be able to turn everything on from her phone... so when we would pull up to our home we (I) would appreciate all the hard work.

The app is very simple and feature-filled. If you're using android be sure to shut off "wifi scanning" (it is now under "location services" for some reason). After setup I was able to program the switch, set routines/schedules and share it with other devices in my household. Great overall and an easy way to start your smart home.

The smart plug is so easy to use, I don't know why I haven't owned one for years. The phone app for this device makes it quick and easy to turn on a lamp inside my house, regardless of where in the world I'm located. Alternately, I can use the app to schedule "on" and "off" times for my lamp, just like a standard timer.

I ended up purchasing 5 so far. Works great with the Webo app on my Android. Installed them to various lamps throughout the house. Took a few days vacation. Never told my roommate about them and drove him crazy turning the lights on and off from my hotel room. That alone was worth the cost. Fantastic product.

This is the 4th smart plug I have bought 2 like this and 2 others that are store exclusive. I have had absolutely no problems with the WEMO, the others have been taken back not because they didn’t work but because the app was down more than it was working. For cost effective smart outlets WEMO is the only choice for me

This was a gift for my elderly mother-in-law. With this timer we could set the lights to go on based on the time of sunset. No need to do anything when daylight savings time starts! She can also control the light by talking to her kindle. With poor eyesight, this is a big help.

Purchased wemo to integrate with Alexa to voice command my Christmas tree lights on and off. Works perfectly. Love it!

This product is basically a switch controlled by your smart phone or voice assistant (Alexa or Google Home)

Bought two several months ago programmed to turn lamps on and off. So with Christmas right around the corner thought they would work great for the tree and several other things. The tree turns on and off at a certain time each day, but if we want it on earlier we just tell Alexa and she does it for us.

Easy set up. Works great. Have had no issues with it

I own both the first version and the revised version of the Wemo plugs. The new version is much better as it doesn't cover both plugs. Fairly easy to set up, but when I tried setting these up, the app was being buggy and not connecting to the switch. After about 15 minutes of messing around, it finally connected.
