Finally they released a firmware update and it has been stable for several months. Have a floor lamp plugged into it in my bedroom and it is nice to be able to turn off this lamp from my bed at night.

Very difficult and time consuming to set up however. More than I thought. I had to call customer service for them to walk me through because they wouldn’t connect to WiFi. But they were very helpful. Haven’t had any issues with them connecting since the initial setup.

The set up was easy and it worked great. Then the power went out on my internet modem and I couldn’t get it to setup afterwards. Maybe if I had more patience I could have fallen in love with this thing again.

You can try to relocate the Wemo Mini close to the router and use a different smartphone for isolation. Also, make sure that you have the latest version of the Wemo app installed.
