I've purchased 4 of these over the last year or so. These things work well. I've set these on a schedule and have never had issues with without wifi connected. The fact the devices have worked is the main reason I don't give this one star. Overall, the app is bad. There are issues with updating devices and connecting from time to time. Setup is a major pain and can fail. When it fails it can be very difficult to get working and usually requires having to reset the device again. Also, haven't been able to figure out how to remove a device. Only option is to hide it. The worst part is that you have to provide your email address in order to setup the device. The email isn't to sign up for an account or controlling the devices remotely. The email is required just to be able to connect your device to wifi so you can use it. The worst part is the email for marketing purposes and you can not use the device without opting in. That is a major GDPR violation in some countries. I'm not sure when providing an email became a requirement, but don't remember having to provide my email to setup my other devices. Will be looking for another brand. Belkin needs to work on the software.

Easy to use plug. Control via app on phone. Great for when I am out of town. Can change the times it goes on or off with ease.

I use these for two lamps in my home. It is nice being able to set them to a schedule in HomeKit. You can fit two of these on the same outlet.

I started setting up smart home components and these outlet plugs work great with my set up. Very easy to setup and use with Siri

I wanted to start smartening up my home after I got a Google Home and mini. I chose this to replace a timer for the lamp in my living room. It had excellent reviews on the Best Buy website. It was easy to set up. I downloaded the Wemo app on my phone and set it to turn on every evening at 5:15 pm and go off at 11:15 pm. I will change those times as the days get longer. If I want light in the morning I say " Hey Google, turn on the light plug" and it turns on the light. If I replace the smart plug with a smart bulb, I will place the Wemo somewhere else to turn something else on and off.

The WeMo smart plug is the best. I can ask my Alexa to turn on my lamp and it will turn on. I can also turn it on in the mobile app.

I use these WEMO switches with my Amazon Alexa to control lights. The new version is sooo much smaller and less noticeable on the wall. Set up and programming were easy!

The mini wifi Smart Plug is the least expensive way to add Wemo flexibility to anything that plugs in. We use several of these on lights in the house. We control them with Amazon Echo Dots (4 of them throughout the house) because the Echo Dots are always connected to the Smart Plugs (unlike our iphone Xs which must reconnect everytime you open the app--which takes about 5 secs). This way we have all the flexibility the Wemo's provide, without having to walk into a dark room and wait for the app on our phone to connect. We love the Wemos now that we are controlling them with Echo Dots!

I installed a low energy use attic ceiling fan in my garage. The Wemo allows me to turn this garage ceiling fan on from my smartphone. Works great!^

I like the size because sometimes you get something similar and then you cant use the second outlet. Is easy to use and hasnt failed, so im happy!

Simple to setup instructions and very easy to use afterwards. Never had a problem and works seamlessly with smart home speakers.

Overall EXCELLENT! However, SOMETIMES the connection drops and the plug is not discover-able. But overall it works like it's supposed to!

Easy set up, good price. Only issue was one plug lost its mind after a power outage, but a quick reset and it was fine. Time function difficult to set

You can customize timing to turn off, remotely control using app, turn off manually when required and best of all it allows you to use to second socket as in compact

Setup took a bit to get going and the UI within the app leaves a lot to be desired. Had some connectivity issues but overall it's fine for its basic purpose of turning off/on power on an outlet.

The new mini WeMo is much smaller to use than original wemo plug,no more hogging the outlet- you can plug in 2 Mini's in one outlet. Super simple to use!

Easy to set up. Easy app to use. It is also a plus that it works with Alexa. A great way to get started in turning the home into a smart home.

Easy set up and it also easily connected to my Amazon Echo. I have this setup as a group on my Echo for my office. It controls an led backlit Bat-symbol on my wall.

Super easy to set up smart plug - I set it up in my Amazon Alexa and have a light plugged into it - works great! Very inexpensive, too

Works well and has been reliable so far. Paired easily with Alexa and has given me zero issues since.
