Sometimes doesn't respond well with Alexa or Google Assistant. Honestly probably an issue with them though as the wemo app works every time.

Overall this plug does everything it is supposed to do. Set up is a breeze, a few clicks in the app and you're ready to go. It has been very stable and quick to respond with other smart home devices/scenes. Only complaint is the size of the plug, which if you use it plugged into a power-strip, expect to lose 3 outlets worth of space. Otherwise, excellent product.

We got these because they don't require a hub (since they are Wi-Fi enabled) and they work with Alexa. We use them with our lamps in our main living area and have them integrated with Alexa which is very convenient. Every once in a while we have to unplug them when they are having issues but this has been needed less overtime as the firmware has been updated.

Set up was not hard. Use it daily and has not failed to work.

I love these smart plugs. I have five. I have them set on lamps, seasonal decorations, etc. It's extremely easy to customize each one, and you can even access it from a distance as long as your home WiFi is on and working. I love having these for when I'm out and want to have lights on when I get home, and for when I'm traveling

Bought this to work with a Google home and it was super simple to set up. Had it working in like 5 minutes. Google operates it and lights are off or on with me asking it. Also has a very good phone app so you can also control these from there too. Connects to the home wifi and the phone app works when you are away from home. Shows the light status right on the phone. Bought 3 of these.

Easy to set up and works perfectly with Alexa, would recommend.

Best plug easy to install and to control from outside too

I have 6 of these now and really enjoy it. It integrates well with the Apple home Apple letting me control it by voice or setup commands for things like going to bed or leaving the house. It’s a controllable outlet so accent lights or whatever you would like is at your command. It is only an on and off switch so keep that in mind.

Easy install, does what is advertised, priced right

Works well with phone and programming. However, the setup was a little difficult as they have a setting to save the WiFi settings to assist in future setups of other plugs. However, I found that with this switch set to on...the device would not connect to my WiFi. Once I figured out that I needed to turn it off, the WiFi connection happened without any problem.

This wifi plug works exactly as expected. It was easy to set up and just as easy to tie into my wireless network. We plugged the Christmas tree into it and couldn't be happier with the ease of turning it on and off with no bending or searching for plugs behind,around or under anything. Just tell it to turn on or off. Love technology.

Great plugin! Installed the Wemo app. Tied in with the Alexa app fairly easily and works flawlessly. One item though, pay attention to the instructions step by step. Take a little more time here. Be careful here, once you get it working and now know how, you'll want to start adding all kinds of switches, plugins, lights, thermostats, cameras etc. Have fun!!

Got tired of struggling to unplug & plug in my Christmas tree without causing a catastrophe. Bought this plug to solve this problem. So easy to set up and use. Just tap my phone and the tree was on or off. Loved this plug so much, I bought 3 more! I can now turn on lamps all over my house with a simple touch on my phone or iPad.

The Wemo Smart Plug is a great device for use in lighting your home without the need for a complete system. It’s stand-alone ability is worth the cost.

This was my first smart plug and I wasnt disappointed. Great color choice, as it hides up against the wall and haven't really seen any issues with it. It works with Google Assistant and Alexa well, although I have seen Alexa being a bit quicker after the command is given, but it may not be related to Wemo. Solid performer, and works as expected. No complaints.

I had been hesitating to buy this smart plug unsure of what it can do. I should have purchased this long ago and should have saved myself from manually turning off the lamp in living room at certain time. Now that it is connected to Alexa I can just send command from my bed or set time to turn on/off this lamp. Worth every cent on this product.

The mini switch takes up very little room and is compatible with Google.
