The app and device easily paired and the controls on the app are very easy to figure out. It helps control the outlet devices plugged in just as needed. Much better than the old timer that plugged in and was set with pins and which made a noise if you were in same room. I use it to also shut off TV so it doesn't stay on if I fall asleep.

I have several iterations of the wemo switches and they've been relatively solid for me. The setup process however, has never been very smooth with the device not accepting my wifi password several times for unknown reasons. To increase your odds, you have to turn of 5 GHz and use 2.4 GHz on the highest compatibility settings.

Product is great you can plug it up anywhere and can plug anything into it. It’s great if you have it connected to a google home or echo, but even if you have someone not that tech savvy they can still use it via the app. I bought it for my mom needless to say she didn’t use the google home mini but uses semi with the app.

Makes a smart home easier to manage. Nice and small and doesn’t block other outlet. Would have given 5 stars, but advertises it works with Alexa when actually it does not. Alexa can’t control groups. Failure on Alexa and wemo for not fixing this quickly. Other than that, great product

I’m not really a high tech person and so when I bought this device I was worried about installing it. But it was super easy and I got it to work right away. Works great. I love being able to turn on and off my lights with my voice or via the app. All of those times of laying in bed and having to get up and turn off the lights are over!

Used to swear by the mini plugs, had quite a long track record (2+ years) of being reliable, easy to set up and use for automation of multiple devices. (both lights and aquarium equipment). Software package is now constantly requiring firmware updates, plugs fail updates and basically brick (reset does not work, phone will not connect to them, they are no longer seen on the app). updates tend to break 1-2 of the 9 i have running until the next update, 10th device (one of the newer ones) is now 'bricked' with the white/orange dot flashing, even after reset, and refusing to connect in-app.

This is my third WEMO and they really work like a charm. I will continue to buy more of their products and you should do like wise

I love these , I use them cuz alexa control my whole house, don't trust anything but these, and I've tried all the different ones.

It works great for my fan. I use it with Google Assistant and have experienced only some glitches. The app is a bit slow

I use the wemo with different lamps throughout the house, I use it w/ Google home, 10% Google says it's unavailable, repeat command & it works. If it doesn't work, it's waiting for a firmware upgrade, then you have to go into the app, hope it sees the device then upgrade. Could be better, could have a better UI.

Great plug for a great price to make your life easier

The smart plug connected easily to my google home and works great. I bought it for my elderly mother and she loves it for turning on her lamp. It works well with verbal commands from across the room as well. With her limited mobility, it saves her from taking those extra steps and possibly falling.

I bought WeMo Mini WiFi Smart plug because I used them when I am not home. I plug my lamps into them and my TVs into them and when I M not home or gone away for a long period of time, I can turn on all my lamps and electronics on if I am not home. I love these smart plugs.

I had a difficult time deciding which brand of smart devices to incorporate into my home system. I chose the WeMo mainly because it was on sale and in stock at my store. I've since bought another and plan to add more WeMo devices in the near future. Worked great right out of the box and was simple to set up with my Echo.

We use Wemo to control lamps, and in December, the Christmas tree. With Echos in several rooms, it's quite convenient to turn devices on or off from a different room. Yeah, that sounds a bit lazy, but when you're comfy cozy in a different part of the house, it's a nice convenience. Set up is very easy.

Setup was so easy & it works with Google/Alexa well

I purchased these two Smart Plugs to go with the four I purchased last year. After the latest firmware upgrades they have worked 100 percent of the time with my HomeKit. I have used the automation for the holidays to control our indoor holiday lighting. Excellent choice.

These are great to have to help automate non-smart devices to ensure devices are either powered (or not powered) on certain schedules. Great for light fixtures, indoor security cameras or really anything that you wish you could have plugged in or unplugged before leaving the house.

This device allows you to automate the on/off of any device you plug into it. You can utilize an app on your phone to schedule when the device goes on and off and/or turn your device on remotely. You can also sync the plug automation with your Alexa device to incorporate voice command to control the on/off of the device.
