We now have several of these in our house and they male things like turning on & off lights, air conditioning, etc so easy!

Sometimes is not as smart as expected it looses the connection being so close to wifi

This was a gift for my girl friend. It works as advertised with no issues. I purchased this because it works with alexa without a hub.

As I understand it, the firmware in this model is outdated and so set up is very difficult. After an hour or so of trying the instructions included with the device I just left it alone. A few days later I tried to tackle it again, this time taking to the internet to find a solution. One did not easily present itself on the Weemo troubleshooting page. I did find a forum post elsewhere on the internet that helped. Not everyone will have the problem I had. First, the app should ask you to turn off a WiFi to mobile data automatic switching feature. It's called something different on different phones, but what this feature does is if a Wi-Fi signal is too weak it will automatically switch to your cell signal if it is stronger. The other thing you'll want to do is put your phone in airplane mode and turn the Wi-Fi on. Only after I did this second step did set-up finally work. If you're still having trouble reset the plug by unplugging and plugging it back in, then holding down the power button until it resets. Once you have it connected be sure to update the plug's firmware via the app so that if you ever need to reconnect you won't have to do this all over again. Additional note: I purchased one for my mom awhile back and she tells me now that she had the same issue that I had with this one.

Easy setup but response can be a bit slow when connected to the Echo. Can the up to five seconds for Alexa to turn on or off.

works perfectly. I was able to hook multiple items to Alexa and put on timer. Other brands do not install as easy as Wemo

Very easy to install, and we paired ours with our Amazon Echo Dot so the Smart Plug can be controlled via voice command. Very convenient!

2 minute setup after downloading app. Alexa found and set up first try. Once set up, I never used the Wenmo app again.

I bought a different one at first and couldn't get it to work with my Echo but this one was so easy and I bought a second one

The setup for the Wemo was very easy and it works very well with an Amazon Echo. I plan to purchase additional units in the future

I've attached this to my A/C unit plug and I keep the A/C on so that I can turn it on with my voice!

Device is great. Wemo application is crap - use a home app thats its compatible with.

We have this synced to our Alexa and works just fine. It took us a minute to get it corrected right but now it's super easy.

Better than previous version. I like the appearance and being able to easily turn a light on or off manually with the touch of a button.
