Would recommend WeMo over brands because they all seem to have bugs with their apps and WeMo app bugs are the less annoying of the bunch. For example, some of the light switches think their off daylight savings while others think their on daylight savings. Trying to submit bug reports through app doesn’t work either because the app either directs you to a bad page or just doesn’t respond at all.

We saw your product review for the Wemo Mini Smart Plug. All Wemo Devices are defaulted to OFF after a power outage for safety purposes. However, you can use IFTTT to turn the Wemo device On after a power outage. Should you need a hand, tap us anytime at [email protected].
