Reset connection, works fine for another day, then somehow loses connection. Setup was moved to same room and right next to the wifi and still same issue. Virtually useless due to this issue. I had 2 units and both worked flawfully... returned both.

I was not expecting any improvements and none were delivered aside from the compact space saving design. There is an issue with Wemo's server that allows me to see other people's devices, see their usage (if it's an insight switch), power on and off their devices remotely, and the same can be done with mine despite the remote feature being disabled. Only one device is setup to control my wemo, but Belkin said six had been given that permission. They claim to be working on the issue and say that it's possible my brand new device was actually pre-owned, that is to say Purchased, setup, and returned without resetting the device to default settings, allowing a link between my device and their account and vice versa. This is a huge vulnerability. A tremendous flaw in a supposedly secure consumer product. Don't buy until they patch it.

Whenever there were local electrical company power outages, the intercom powered by AC would not come back on when electrical power was restored. Using the Wemo app on my iPhone I could re-enable the intercom system remotely.

The Wemo devices are designed to be in an OFF state after a power outage for safety purposes. This is to avoid an influx of electricity going into the device that may damage it once the power comes back.
