These work wth a standalone app or Alexa with the hub will pick it where I also have Hue lighting joined in.Works like a charm always connected unless wifi goes out.I am able control from my phone also through Alexa.

I had previously purchased the upgraded wifi outlet thinking it worked better. The only difference is that it tracks your energy usage. Totally not necessary for what I needed. Purchased this item for cheaper and am equally as happy.

Youre getting a great bang for your buck with these smart outlets. They have all the features you could need of larger brands at a much lesser cost. I have not had any issues with them at all!

Got this because it's one of the few that are homekit compatible. The setup process was way more difficult than it should've been (app crashed about 5 times), but once it's set up it works great.

I maintain marine aquariums and use this to remotely turn on a pump to mix and heat saltwater to do water changes with. Saves me electricity not heating water that would otherwise sit until I was ready to use.

When they work they are great. Sometimes they lose wifi connection which is a source of frustration.

I own 8 or so wemo devices & with the exception of the older outlet they've all been great. This is no different. Though Wemos set up leaves a little to be desired, I've yet to have any issues.

We have a light that's in an awkward position to turn on and off, so we just got this plug and connected to our Echo Dot. Now all we have to do is tell Alexa to turn the lamp on or off.

Another addition to the home. Wemo products are great and do what they are designed for. You won’t be disappointed. If your starting to do up your home as a smart home then start with wemo and stick with it.

Added this so a lamp could be turned on and off using Apple's HomeKit. It works perfect and had zero issues. Did have to update the firmware when setting up, but after that it was ready to use with HomeKit.

Smart bulbs don’t go in ALL lamps, but I can still control them through the Wemo smart plug. Lying in bed I can turn lights on or off in any part of the house. And I can control them when I’m away from home, too.

I have it a 4 for the price. Otherwise, what a great piece of tech. You can hook it to anything, me a lamp. You can use the app to design when to come on and off and use Alexia or Google with it to.

Great addition to your home management system. It was easy to setup and use with my Amazon Echo. It maybe a little costly but if you can afford it, its the way to go.

I admit I didn't read the ad closely enough, but come on. This is unit is twice the price of other smart plug devices. I mistakenly believed that it was voice activated. I do have Alexa, but she'd downstairs and I wanted to be able to talk to the plug and have it turn off. I believed the on/off button was a small speaker until I saw it in person. Not sure why anyone would pay 34.99 for one plug when you can get two TP-LINK - Wi-Fi Smart Plug (2-Pack) - White for the same price. I gave it as a gift so I can't return it. I'm very, very disappointed however. I feel ripped off. ):

I love having the option of turning on a light, or a device even when I’m not home. I currently use it to turn on my living room lamp and it’s on a schedule so I don’t have to worry of when it turns on or off.

We bought two WeMo plugs to control our indoor Christmas lights. They are integrated into our settings so we can turn on our room lights and holiday decorations at one time. Great to use.

I really enjoy my Wemo smart plug. It works really well. Furthermore, it is compatible with Apple Home App which increases the convenience and freedom to many users.

I like how it integrates with my Google Assistant. I have a routine schedule that turns my air freshener on and off and it hasn't lost a single yet. The only con is that it sticks out a little bit.

These do the job -- however there are better prices for similar styles at other stores, so would definitely shop around but overall happy with this product since we used a gift card on it.

This plug works most of the time. I usually have to cut it on off with my iPhone. It only responds sometimes with my HomePod. It is a little difficult to set up.
