I would set it up according to the directions but it seemed to keep wanting to update. It would flash orange often which meant it was updating but was in those mode even though it was up to date. I just need a temporary solution so it’s fine for now. I don’t expect this item to last more than a year. You’re better off with the TP-Link Kasa plug.
