Definitely worth the purchase. Performs as needed most of the time. The reason I only gave it four stars instead of five is that it does go off line on occasion and needs to be reset. This will be a problem if away on vacation. Another plus is that this is Alexa compatible.

Sometimes lose connection to Alexa but I just turn off and on and that does the trick.

We use to control a couple lamps while we are away. Very easy to set up and have had no issues.

I had read about other devices that people had trouble connecting, but I have several of the Wemo plugs, and they were just plug in, connect, and Alexa has been turning them on and off ever since! Need to get a couple more. They cost a bit more, but worth it because they always work!

Purchased to use with Google Home Mini. This works perfectly and had no issues syncing with it.

I tried a different plug but it was tough to setup. Wemo is very easy. I use Alexa in the living room & Dot in the bedroom to control lights. This is a great upgrade to our home. My wife thought it would just be a waste of money but now she is a believer. We both love them.

Love being able to switch my appliances on and off from afar. Good way to know if someone is using your stuff. Google assistances sometimes has a hard time keeping connecting.

This controller was purchased to control my Christmas lights. The app easily installed on my phone, and was working within minutes. A timed on and off cycle was set and has been functioning ever since. SmartThings also recognized this device. However, Google Home was unable to make an authentication, so there is no voice control with my Google Mini. Hopefully that will be fixed in the future.

I really like this wemo smart plug, it is small and only takes one plug. It is very easy to setup and it has options for schedule on and off. The schedule is very simple to change and you can also turn the appliance on and off from your phone app. It's great.

I purchased this for a walk-in closet with no light. I ran an AC powered light outlet into the closet and installed a 60-watt LED bulb. However, I had to plug and unplug the light cord into an AC outlet to power it on or off. There was no inline switch. I bought this to eliminate the need to plug in the light. We already have smart lighting in our home, so it fit right in. The Wemo app was easy to download and configure. In fact, I found the experience easier than our Hue system was initially. Speaking of the Hue, both systems play nicely together within our home. The Wemo doesn't cause any wireless interference nor is it affected by any despite being plugged into a surge protector directly behind a 60" LED television and sound bar. The only minor complaint I have with the Wemo is the loud clicking noise it makes when it power-cycles. I don't know if that's by design or not but it sounds odd. Other than that, it's been great for the month or so that we've been using it now.
