Easy set up and it also easily connected to my Amazon Echo. I have this setup as a group on my Echo for my office. It controls an led backlit Bat-symbol on my wall.

Very easy install. Very user friendly interface. Works with my google home. Better than my insignia smart plugs, those dont work 100% of the time.

Device worked great for about 4 days. But, then I started having connections issues. Updating firm way did work very well. I have two switches and 3 outlets. I had to re-setup two of them.

      Hi, John,

Updating the firmware, relocating the Wemo devices, and setting a fixed channel to the associated 2.4GHz frequency, are some workarounds that stabilize the connections. Should you encounter any more troubles, reach out to us right away at [email protected], with the link to this post and your contact details. Our Wemo Experts will always be of help.

I wanted to modernize my home without breaking the bank and this fit the bill. If you can get it priced around $15-$20 each, then it’s worth it. Pros: Nice design Connects to HomeKit Cons: Occasionally it won’t show up on Apple’s HomeKit app. It will show the outlet as unresponsive, but when you open the actual Wemo app, it would almost alway be listed/working. An annoyance, so minus 1 star. Overall: I would recommend if you can get it at the right price.

easy to set up, works very well with the included app and decently with Google Assistant. Integration with IFTTT seems to be pretty bad, the automated feature rarely seems to run, not sure if that's an issue on IFTTT's end, Wemo, or a mix of both. If you want something easy to schedule, quick to respond, and easy to set up, this is a good item. If you want it for smart home integration, it has potential, but I'd like to see much better performance from wemo/iFTTT and wemo/Google Assistant, the performance in these two categories is subpar to acceptable

After a few setup issues I was able to get these connected to my Apple HomeKit. The most common issue I think you might encounter is that your phone must be connected to the 2.4 GHz wifi network in order to get it to work. This might only be an issue for households with more than one frequency or homes with only 5 GHz. Also, make sure you update the firmware because otherwise it will act up. Keep the HomeKit code handy (there’s one on the plug and anther in the manual) so you can scan it easily and quickly.

We bought as an on and off switch because my sisters light didn't have one we programmed it to a google home and it was a great product. Really easy to set up for someone who knows a tiny bit about phones. Just have to follow step by set up instructions.

Purchased the 'mini' because of its small design. It will not block adjacent outlets. Plus, its quality performance exceeded expectations.

pleased that they made it smaller so it doesn't cover both plugs when you use it. does the job that the bigger/older one does with no issues.

Since this product came out only a few weeks ago I was a little concerned as to how it would perform. I hit a few bumps which have been since resolved and I love it! I have a google home unit which it is compatible with (also with Amazon Echo) so I can talk whatever I have plugged into it to turn on and off with a simple command. I use it with my lighting and the added benefit of it is there is also an app which you can use to control it's uses so if I am not going to be home or get home when it's dark I can turn the lights on and off with a simple touch. i will be purchasing a few more.

Got this as a present for Christmas and had no idea what to do with it, but it has come in handy and been great! I plug my lamp in to it and control it from an app on my phone so I can turn the lights on and off from anywhere, so if I am going away for a few days I can turn the lights on for a few hours at night so people don't know I am not home. I have also used it in the kitchen and connected it to a crockpot in case I am not home in time to turn the pot off and risk over cooking my meal, all I have to do is hit a button on my phone and I know it will shut off.

I like this versus the larger wemo that gives electricity usage stats because it doesn't block the other plug. However you can't use it in the outside weather covered plugs because it is too wide to fit there. It does the Christmas lights well though!
