Initially I purchased this as a gift for a family member, and could never get it to setup correctly on their network. I bought another brand for them as a replacement and took this one home to try on my network, and had no problems at all. All is working well in my house as expected. I would recommend this as an inexpensive alternative to the other options out there. Also, on a side note, this models height will allow you to plug two of them into the same outlet unlike some of the others on the market.

This is a smart plug. This will allow you to say “hey google” / “Alexa” “turn on/off the _______”. And then it will turn on or off. Works best on items that are on with power and off without like: lamps, fans, sensors, coffee makers, printers, etc. Doesn’t work as well with TVs or computers because those generally prefer being turned off to having power shut. The plug works perfectly with just WiFi available. Setup is easy. Best used to add to a smart home solution for analog devices.

I bought this to automate my kid's lava lamp, which needs to warm-up in order to "work" at bedtime, but then needs to go off once she's asleep so that it doesn't decimate the polar ice caps and my utility budget. The plug works OK usually, but it has failed to turn on the lamp a couple of times and the app is a little clunky - not very fast, intuitive, or user-friendly. I think these things are a little over-priced.

I have purchased several of these for myself and family. Very easy to set up and use. It works great with both Alexa and Google Assistant.

This is a great smart switch to add to your home. Easy to setup and has given us no problems in the couple months of using them.

plugged in and in less than 5 minutes it was updated and functioning, will be picking up more, they work perfectly.

These little plugs once set up work great and fully integrate with Google home and assistant. Also works very nice with IFTTT.

Has worked great, connected it to Alexa app and use it with that and the slim size allows you to plug another item into the same wall plug.

Has a lot of potential especially within the app. I simply use this to be able to ensure my heaters are turned off, but with the scheduling options and the integration with other systems, Nest in my case, it’s great. I utilize this so when I leave my geo-fenced area and my other smart devices go into away mode, it turns off the plugs. Gives me a peace of mind that I know for a fact things are turned off. Also apply it the other way around so that when I arrive home, devices are turned out.

Purchased the plug switches to upgrade our home security , especially for when we aren't home ...lights plugged in come on/off everyday at a certain time , or whenever we choose we can use our smartphones to turn them on & off Great product

Having an Alexa, I bought it to turn off the bedroom lamp. It was easy to set up and worked great. I bought another one soon after to use at my school to turn off the lights, but did not have an Alexa, but found I could use it with my PC. Cortana works well with it too. I had my students use IFTT to program the Wemo with Cortana...and now my video lights for my green screen wall turns on with Harry Potter terms: "Lumos" and turns off with "Nox" That's what you get when you have students program things.

Great device. Super easy to install. Turns on and off anything you plug in. Works great with Alexa and with the App. Will definitely recommend it.

Not the easiest thing to set up. One was in a continuous loop attempting to “update firmware” for several days. The other one set up easily, with no glitches. I’m still having difficulty setting up the outlets on different schedules. The app wants them both on the same schedule. They were 1/2 price, and worth that, I guess, since you can operate them on your cellphone, remotely. Would never buy them at full price.

this plug worked first time and every time. Does not block other outlet and works seamlessly with Alexa and Apple Home Pod.

Very good product in addition to smart home devices. Easy to use and install. Alexa enabled device is much easier to use.

I use my wemos to control a lamp, holiday lights and my Christmas tree lights. Easily programmed by schedule to go on and off. I also control them using an Amazon echo where I just say "Turn on" / "off" the device and it's done.

We have this timer set up for our bearded dragon’s lamps. Works like a charm and so easy to adjust the timer from our phones!

Definitely a good purchase and a great smart plug for a lamp. You can set timers and even control it away from home. Plan to buy more.

The new, smaller size of the Belkin Wemo plug is great. Set up was easy and this plug easily replaced an old light timer with pins.
