This product is absolutely amazing work seamlessly with the HomePod and is able to do whatever you need. You just talk to Siri and ask her to turn the switch on and off it works from your phone remotely or you can do it from inside your house using the HomePod. If you’re an Apple userIt’s a must have. It is extremely convenient to have your Christmas tree hooked up with the switch highly recommend it

I have about 5 of these smart plugs now. They work very well and integrate well into Apple Home (they are homekit compatible). The only problem I have with these plugs is that they don't setup as easily as described. In my experience, as you connect to the device's temporary wi-fi, name it and then go to connect to your home wi-fi, the WeMo app just crashes out to the iOS desktop. For me with two plugs this last time, the first one did actually connect ok despite the crash after one or two tries but the second one took about 20 tries, over 2 days. I would think a lot of folks would tire of this and just return it, even though ultimately it works and you only need to do this once in the device's life. Other than this annoyance, the product works well and helps to schedule lights or other devices coming on, tied to a schedule or turning on via voice (for me with Amazon Echo which works well). I have heard that having an unusual character in your wi-fi password can cause the crashes. I did not experiment with this as to change it would have been annoying to go and reset logins on 20+ devices. I would hope Belkin could look into fixing this but apart from this, it works very well and is definitely worthy of 4 stars and 5 if the setup was more robust.

It's a good plug, works and integrates with Homekit fine. The biggest issue I have...I don't really need it for anything; I dont have enough routines to really take advantage of it. I found some extra older under cabinet LEDs laying around so finally thought I had something good to put to use but....can't dim. Dimming would help in my instance. Anyway, its a good product for what it is, you just may be able to put your smarthome $$ to better use.

Better than advertised. When I'm out of the house I can turn the lights and a radio on and off. Tremendous for safety. In my home I can control it using "Älexa" in Amazon echo, so it is also part of my home theater. Excellent.

I use this with my Alexa and LOVE IT. So east to have the lights turn on at night when I can't see. Easy to set up and use.

This is a great plug, it works very well with minimum setup. I use it with Amazon Alexa and pairs with no problem.

I purchased a 9 ft. tree this year for the house. I placed the tree light plug into this plug which was directly behind the tree. I put the app on my Apple I phone. So instead of squeezing around tree or crawling under to turn tree lights on. I just tapped the app on my phone to turn the tree on or off. Now I use it for a lamp. fun to watch as guests (especially Kids) watched lights go on right in front of them. I would turn on the lights on way home with grandkids.

Much smaller than the original Wemo plug. Intragates with Samsung Smartthings and Amazon Alexa. Would recommend highly.

I use this mini plug in conjunction with my Echo and it works great. The setup was easy and it works flawlessly with the Echo.

i like this, compact and it allows you to use the second wall plug. easy to setup and program. highly recomended.

I have these scattered all over my house. I love them. They are very easy to set up and work great for lamps. I love that I can turn lights off and on when I'm away from home, to give the appearance that someone is there. The only thing I wish worked differently... so far anything that I have that requires a remote control (my fan, portable ac, air purifier) don't work with these. I can turn the outlet off and on, but the unit still has to be turned via the remote or manually.

I've used the old school manual type timers for years and they are a pain. I gave the Wemo a try and I will say, I will never go back. Every so often there is a connectivity issue, but I think it's a random network issue. I will say that the scheduling was acting glitchy when you set the light on vacation and it coincides with your regular schedule (when turned off), but this may have been fixed in the most recent update and I haven't tried it since. I plan to buy a few more!
