Christmas tree was a bit harder to turn off this year, after moving into a new house. Rather than climb over presents a bookcase and the arm of a couch, I got this amazing little device. Added it to Amazon Alexa in a matter of minutes and had it in the living room light automation modes in the blink of an eye. Never has it been easier to control the holiday lights. Next year I think I’ll need a couple more for OUTSIDE lights!

I bought two of these for my apartment. I usually work late and it’s dark when I come home so it’s convenient for Alexa to turn on my lights without me feeling around for the switch. The first one was set up very quickly but I had quite a bit of trouble setting up the second one. Occasionally Alexa fails to “see” the switches but it’s usually remedied by using the app on my phone to power them on or off once.

Overall I love this smart plug. What makes it powerful is the rules you can set for it to make it fit your lifestyle. I used it to go with my air conditioner and programmed it using IFFT and regulate its use. The main issues I have is the set up process with Home Kit can be challenging at times until a recent firmware update resolved some of the connectivity issues I have had.

This is my 2nd wemo plug. I am adding to my collection. I've had the same plug for one year and I have had zero problems. The most important thing I love about this product is that it doesn't require a hub.

Works like a charm. This is my third purchase for the same product and it is super easy to use I can turn lights on or off from another city, state, country! Extremely reliable and stable operating system

I bought this to add to my fish tank light. This has made managing the time the light is on each day so much better. I set it to turn on at sun up and off 15 minutes after sun down. This switch does it perfectly . I can also use Siri or Alexa to tell it to turn on and off if I wanted to, so it would make it convenient for anyone wanting to connect it to a lamp and didn’t want to get up and turn it on and off.

Use these for my holiday lighting. Easy to setup and they have schedules for auto on/off.

This device works like a charm! I'm able to remotely turn on our of anything plugged into it, or scheduled it in advance.

I purchased these WeMo devices after my girlfriend’s parents introduced me to utilizing Google Home Minis for smart home control. Now I’ve gone a little bit off of the deep end, but hey, I’m in good company. I use these smart plugs in conjunction with Google Home / my Google Home Minis to control lights. In fact, whenever I wake up in the morning, Google Assistant uses these plugs to turn on my lights and start brewing coffee. Pretty neat, huh?

Easy to set up and use. Scheduling timer on/off with sunrise/sunset keeps the lights in sync with the sun all year long.

I bought a couple of these on last year's Black Friday and it was a great Christmas tech gift. It works perfectly with Google Home. Customize rules, notifications, and the name of the Wemo, and you will be able to control anything that is connected to it. The Wemo app is very user friendly and intuitive. I have not experienced any lags or troubleshooting scenarios thus far. Overall, it is a great item to purchase if you want to build up a smart home.

originally was going to purchase a mechanical timer for the Christmas tree lights...talked to a knowledgeable Best Buy guy who suggested the WEMO.... now I'm planning on buying a couple more the house.

I have WeMo light switches at home, so I decided to continue with the WeMo eco system and this product works flawlessly 99% of the time. The other 1% is it just doesn’t respond, but that’s true of all my WeMo products. The issue always self resolves within 24 hours when I have issues (maybe due to updates?). Other than that, the product is well crafted and the app is great.

Overall convenient love it works good on lights, not as good for a TV. Nice wen you set it up with Alexa.

It was easy to set up and to use. I like that the timer can be set by sunrise and sunset times.

I like the convience and ease of the Wemo and it works with all my voice systems (I do not have apple products). My only complaint is that it is so big. It's ok if plugging into a regular dual socket, as you can mostly use the other plug. I can't use it in any type of multi plug enviornment, so I can use it where I have some key lamps and other devices I want to control, because it covers up all the other plugs.

Straightforward to set up, and integrates easily with other devices in the home. Highly recommend for lamps and lights.
