You must make sure you have a router with 2.4 ghz on a dedicated line. Otherwise they will not connect. We had Google Wifi until we changed plans with Comcast. Now we are using their Router/modem combo that has both 2.4 and 5 ghz but for some reason these plugs will not connect along with some 2.4 ghz lights with this new router/modem.

I love my WeMo smart plugs! I can schedule my lights to come on and off. I can turn lights off from the comfort of my bed! It was easy to connect to my wi-fi as well. I think the app is a little confusing to use, but you can google directions which are very helpful. My only complaint is I wish it was a little smaller. Other than that, it's great!

After chatting with a VERY knowledgeable "Blue Shirt" I chose to go with the Belkin Wemo versus other options. Set-up was a breeze & had no problem making the connection. Worked so well, I went and bought another. I can now turn my window a/c units on while at work if it gets too hot for my pets & also have it cool for when I get home!!! Away from home I use the Wemo app & at home I use Alexa, all with no problems!!!

I have a light that has 6 bulbs. Instead of replacing 6 them with smart bulbs I just bought 1 Wemo mini smart plug. For the most part it works well with Alexa. But every now and then she doesn't like it and I end up unplugging and re-plugging the plug or removing and re-adding it to the Amazon Echo app. Small price to pay for the convenience.

Great mini plug to configure with google home. Works like a charm with google home when configured correctly. Using it for controlling out of reach socket for living room lights. My only compliant is that it is slightly difficult to configure 2nd time when you change your wifi router of wifi configurations.

Tried others that failed. Use the app with light switch too. Required plug to be compatible with whole home app (use iMaster control-out of production- and iRule).

When we come home to a dark house this little item allows our voice to ask Alexa to turn on the lights so we can see to climb the steps. We really love this product!

I have several Wemo devices, and this is the easiest to setup. My issue is with the Wemo app, as it does not always detect these plugs, while detecting the older devices. I know the devices are connected, as they work with Amazon Alexa, while NOT being detected in the Wemo app!

Nice plug very responsive , but sometimes doesn't always work when paired with the Amazon Echo. May need to disconnect and reconnect from time to time.
