So i purchased a WEMO smart receptacle just to play around with it. The setup was pretty easy and straight forward (WEMO emits its own SSID that your phone finds through the app, and then configures it for your home wifi for all future use). I also linked it to my Google Home and can use voice-activation to turn a lamp on/off. Works out quite well.

Great product with use for Alexa. Fast setup. Works everytime.

I was leaving my cat for a week vacation and had someone checking on her but wanted the air conditioner to be turned on to cool the apartment down. A co worker recommended I buy a “smart outlet”. I picked this one and I’m glad I did!! Setting it up was so simple because the instructions are! So glad I bought this! Will buy more I am sure!

Great smart plug, I’m using it For my light in my foyer. I like the feature that you can set it to come on at sunset and sunrise and so many minutes before or after. That way the time always changes and it doesn’t look suspicious if you’re not home. Comes on like clockwork and I haven’t had any problems with it this far. I plan on adding more

Being able to control an outlet via WiFi is a great feature. The one downside when connecting this to a light is if you turn the light off via the light itself then you cannot control via the Wemo device. You ultimately have to completely control the device from the Wemo to get consistency out of it.

Used to swear by the mini plugs, had quite a long track record (2+ years) of being reliable, easy to set up and use for automation of multiple devices. (both lights and aquarium equipment). Software package is now constantly requiring firmware updates, plugs fail updates and basically brick (reset does not work, phone will not connect to them, they are no longer seen on the app). updates tend to break 1-2 of the 9 i have running until the next update, 10th device (one of the newer ones) is now 'bricked' with the white/orange dot flashing, even after reset, and refusing to connect in-app.

I love these! I love being able to link these to my Amazon Echo! I am constantly turning on the lights when I am both at home and away.

These work really well. The instructions provided did not work on 2 out of 3 of them. There are some internet sites (not Wemo’s site) that help. If you are using Apple HomeKit, skip the instructions and set it up there using manual entry. Otherwise, hit the web and you’ll find better instructions.

Quick setup and easy to integrate with Alexa. It just works.

We already had one for the room so we decided to get one for the living room! Love how we can set them up on a schedule and use the app!

We have several of these scattered around the house to turn lights on and off as needed. Many are on timers to illuminate the house when we return at night. If you couple these with an Amazon Echo, the Echo finds them and allows you to control them with your voice. Fantastic ! No separate expensive interface is needed to use these as with some brands.

I bought WeMo Mini WiFi Smart plug because I used them when I am not home. I plug my lamps into them and my TVs into them and when I M not home or gone away for a long period of time, I can turn on all my lamps and electronics on if I am not home. I love these smart plugs.

This plug has been great! I synched it with Alexa and it's worked really well. I can turn on and off lights plugged into this with a simple command to Alexa. I can also turn on the lamp in our entranceway from my car, which has been helpful at night, especially when trying to get into the house with kids and packages. Would highly recommend.

Makes a smart home easier to manage. Nice and small and doesn’t block other outlet. Would have given 5 stars, but advertises it works with Alexa when actually it does not. Alexa can’t control groups. Failure on Alexa and wemo for not fixing this quickly. Other than that, great product

I purchased these two Smart Plugs to go with the four I purchased last year. After the latest firmware upgrades they have worked 100 percent of the time with my HomeKit. I have used the automation for the holidays to control our indoor holiday lighting. Excellent choice.

We purchased the WEMO about a month ago and could not be happier with this product. We setup a water fountain that was plugged into our basement and needed something that would be easy for us to turn on the water fountain when we are outside. This product is truly plug-in and go. We would definitely without hesitation recommend this product to anyone.
