I own both the first version and the revised version of the Wemo plugs. The new version is much better as it doesn't cover both plugs. Fairly easy to set up, but when I tried setting these up, the app was being buggy and not connecting to the switch. After about 15 minutes of messing around, it finally connected.

Product works great...set up on the app was a little confusing at first, but didn't take long to figure it out. My only issue is I haven't figured out how to integrate with my Google Home, but honestly haven't spent much time. So I set up my schedule on the Wemo app and all good.

Works as expected/described but is not compatible with iOS HomeKit.

The Wemo Mini WiFi Smart Plug works as advertised to connect the Amazon smart system throughout the home.

When we first checked into smart devices we weren't sure how we would like them. We decided to try something we didn't need a hub. The WeMo Mini Smart plugs work very well. We love the fact that we can put them on random when we're on vacation. No more climbing behind the chair to turn on the timer just use the phone app.

People don’t realize the abilities of this thing. Can be used in so many ways that can make daily activities easier.

Does exactly what it describes. Wish it had dimming capabilities to fade in for waking up in the morning.

I was not going to write anything but since you sent me an email advising me to. IT worked fine for months. I had Alexia working great and life was good. We had a power outage and the Wemo's would not find the WiFi again. I have 4 of them and they all would not resync, find the network, nothing. I've been to every website self help searching for answers. Going on 2 weeks now and I can't get them work to save my life. I've tried reboot and re configuring my router, nothing. I have a NetGear Nighthawk router and I've tried the near and far from it. Resetting it. Nothing works. These devices work great out of the box, God forbid anything happens, they won't work again. In the email it said post a survey and possibly win $500. I think I should be paid $500 for all the time and effort spent trying to get them to work again.

This is great when you want a single function on/off. For example "Hey Siri turn on the fan". A bit bulky so it's not going behind many cabinets and inevitably it takes up too much room on a power strip. Worth it for the convenience / novelty.

I use mine for my to start to brew coffee when I decide to get up and no longer have to always reset the clock or start time. I just press an icon on my phone which is on my nightstand and 3 minutes later I smell coffee as I am starting to get out of bed. The other I use to turn on my bedroom lights before I go to bed

These work well for their intended purpose and are easy to manage. The app is very skimpy and could use some additional features. For instance, you can't just delete a device if you're not using it anymore. In today's world, how can that be?

I had purchased two of these in the past and they were easy to set up and worked great. Purchased two more and one set right up and the other I could not get to connect. After three hours, gave up and will be exchanging. I guess every once in a while you get a dud. But overall, good product.

I needed this for one Ikea lamp that has multiple lights in it. To turn the lamp on and off without having to replace each bulb with a smart bulb (and they are an odd size as well). Works great; easily connects to my echo and by grouping it with "living room lights" i can switch this lamp on with the rest of my smart bulbs.

This item is great for making common household products smart. Used this item to turn on my Christmas tree lights.

i have a hanging lamp in my office that does not have a power switch but a remote to turn it on and off. now i can just leave it on and set up a timer so its on when i need it. the hard part was just getting it to sync with the app the first time.

This plug was the fourth plug purchased. At Christmas season, three are wonderful for use with my Dickenson Village and Christmas tree! The fourth is for the living room light. So convenient!

Bought this plug to use in the bathroom so that we did not need to worry about leaving anything plugged in. Easy to remotely activate and deactivate switch by phone. The button is also an easy way to activate or deactivate switch without unplugging anything.

I've been using these plugs and the Wemo switches for a few months and have been pleased. Easy to set up and intuitive to use. I use them with my Echo's. Only issue I had was after a power outage I had to reboot my network to get them to all connect, but another outage they came back on fine.
