The Wemo smart plug is wonderful for those who like smart home products. The Wemo plug can be integrated with Apple HomeKit, Google Home Assistant as well as Amazon Alexa. The plug responds immediately and is wonderful!

Great smart plug, reliable and works well. Be careful if you’re using Apple HomeKit, as only certain versions of this product are compatible but the SKUs are the same. The box always says if it’s the right version

I use about 20 of these around the house. I program lights to go on at certain times, use Alexa to turn off lights at night. I have never had an issue with them. I prefer these to the other leading version.

It works with Apple HomeKit - the floor rep at Best Buy said it would not. It works well with amazon Alexa. I’m using both at home and WeMo works well with both with no glitches. Initial set up takes a while. Be patient.

After some initial problems setting up the fist outlet because it’s a little more comber some than other HomeKit devices, it works perfectly and reliably. The second one was a synch to setup and it also works flawlessly.

I bought this to replace old mechanical timers for my table lamps. The quality is great and very easy to set up. The software is smoother and easier to use than other brand's software I am familiar with. I will replace all my other timers with this item.

I hate walking in to a dark house and this little baby does the trick. I like the wemo mini so much I bought one for my best friend. Be warned once you buy this it is like a gateway drug, you will be looking for other ways to automate your house.

I have several of these devices throughout my home and they are very dependable.

I will preface this review and say that I am a tech guy, as well as an engineer by trade. I don't necessarily need a complete set of instructions for setup of most electronic things I buy; it would have helped here. I use an iPhone Xs to operate them, and from time to time, an iPad Air 2; both running the most current iOS at the time of this review. I have 2 switches. I bought these when they were on sale, but I wish I would have bought a competitor. At the time of purchase, it was NOT clear if I would need the WeMo Bridge in order to use them; you DO need it. So >$30 spent just to make them work. They easily pair with your home network, and they work great. If you were to use the WeMo app strictly to turn the switches on and off, this would be a 5-star rating. The app looks nice, simple, modern. However, in my opinion, it is marginally operational, and subpar from my expectations. First off, there needs to be more flexibility in scheduling the switches on/off, besides a time, or 'after dusk'. It was absolutely unclear how to transfer the switches into Apple HomeKit. HomeKit isn't as user-friendly as I'd like, but the only way I got the switches into HomeKit was by multiple trial-n-error attempts. Another source of ongoing irritation is trying to add them to an automation sequence, and expecting them to work all of the time. I have my smart lights set up to come on when I arrive home and park. It is the holidays, so I am using the WeMo plugs to activate holiday lights at the same time as I arrive home. I can't guarantee that the lights controlled by the WeMo switches will be on as expected; there is no rhyme or reason as to why they on occasion, do not function. Sometimes they appear on (lit 'green' in the WeMo app), when in fact they are not (and yes, I DO have Background App Refresh active for the app). I've had too much aggravation with them, but after buying two switches, and the WeMo Bridge, I feel like I'm stuck with them. The phrases 'stuck with' and 'technology' should never go together, when you have the latest and greatest on the market.

The Wemo plug is a simple way to make your home smart. It sets up quickly and works well with the Google assistant. I found this a better alternative than smart bulbs for controlling lamps. I'm planning to purchase more to control the upstairs too.

Simple to install and easy to use. This is a simple gadget if you are attempting to have a smart home. Using it for our lamps now and I love the automatic away mode feature, and being alexa compatible

This smart switch is part of my smart home system. I travel for a living and a guest staying in my home didn't know how to turn the light on. I was able to turn it on with my phone 2000 miles away. Of course you can turn it on manually but where's the fun in that.

This is my first smart home purchase and I’m really liking it. I have it hooked to a lamp and love the flexible ways to use it. I can program my light to come on when I get home and turn off when I leave the room. You won’t be disappointed.

Easy set up and perfect for my needs. I have the outlet connected to my Christmas tree and village. It is being controlled by Alexa via my smartthings hub. Alexa turn on the tree and it's done! It has not dropped signal or failed to work.

Excellent to use for lamps. I have installed 6 of these in my home. They were very easy to install. The only hiccup was when I had to change my router which required me to reset all of them to factory setting and it took a little time.

This is a great little device to control wall outlets from a phone app or my Amazon Echo/Dot. I have already went out and bought additional controls for our home that can be controlled like this. I love it and recommend it. It was easy to install and set-up too!

I bought this so my wife and I did not have to remember to cut the lights on our Christmas Tree. It worked perfectly. "On" at 5:30 PM and "Off" at 10:30 PM. We liked it so much we bought one to help our 82 year-old in-laws with their Christmas lights.

Better than TheClapper (tm)! :) A quick command to your @home device and you can control lights, fans and other devices. Turn all lights on or off with one command. This is the future! :)

This is truly a simple and economical approach to provide smart home technology. We have these set up on lamps to go on at sundown and off at set times. This is a great convenience especially when we travel as it makes it looks like we are home.
