Four stars due to nonintuitive android app. They are not the best out there and would recommend buy another brand (TP Link Kasa or Samsung). Expensive for the quality they offer

Setup was a chore with this unit. My prior gen Wemo was actually faster to setup, this feels like a step backwards! Also, it’s 2020, I expect 5Ghz connectivity in my smart devices. It used to be tougher to integrate this band, but with recent chipset advances, this is no longer the case. Maybe if a firmware update comes along the setup experience will improve, but until that point, I don’t recommend this for novice users.

Decent plug. But Wifi connectivity and response times could have been better. Overall a great value for the money and especially if you want to be in Wemo ecosystem.

Much smaller than the previous generation. Can be wonky with mesh systems, but nothing that turning off the wifi (on your phone) and turning it back on again doesn't usually fix. Longtime WEMO owner and early adopter. Love the remote appliance control functionality. Works with IFTTT to integrate with Ring / other devices.

These little plugs have been simple and easy as it gets. If they have their own app I never bothered - scanning the Apple HomeKit code was all that was required to control them. I built an automation to turn my Christmas tree on and off and forgot about it for the rest of the year.

My first smart plugs were a different competing brand and I always had issues with them not working and having to be constantly reset. I no longer get have those issues with the WeMo smart plugs. Will definitely be purchasing this brand to control my Apple HomeKit accessories in the future.

I was very excited to get this Wemo for $14 and loved the smaller size. Definitely not sure why the bigger one is called a mini. Anyways my excitement quickly left when I struggled to get the scheduler to work for my Christmas tree. It would not come on. After multiple back & forth Wemo Twitter messages and rebooting, I finally found an article that listed those that are compatible with the schedule and this one was not listed. So I returned it and got another Wemo Mini and the scheduler worked instantly.

Easy set up and it works great with Apple HomeKit which is the engine for my Smart Home, Once in a while it loses connection with the Home app, and I considered docking it one star. But it happens very infrequently, and I can't say if it's the plug's fault or Apple's app, so I'll leave it at 5 stars.

Love these devices. We have several of the larger versions, but tried the minis when we decided to add to our collection. Works great. Setup is weird with our network. We have change router settings to use WPA instead of AES encryption temporarily whiles its configuring during installation. Love the HomeKit integration!

Great, simple, easy-to-use smart plugs. Allow you to turn any "dumb" light into a smart light. For instance, I use one in my dining room for hanging lights, which allow me to control the hanging lights from my iPad instead of having to plug or unplug them by hand. I'd definitely recommend these.

Finally Wemo makes a smart plug that is more compact, the features are nice, but getting the app to recognize your settings for the smart plug is another story. If you have Apple Kit enabled then the Wemo app stops working sometimes, so instead I use IFTTT to operate some of the functions of the Wemo smart plug. Do not connect anything that pulls a high amount of voltage such as a space heater because it will melt the device, found out the hard way even though the space heater was a small one.

The Wemo WiFi smart plug is easy to set up, whether through HomeKit or Wemo’s own app. Once the smart plug is connected to a Wi-Fi network, it can be assigned to a particular room or group of devices. Price was affordable especially there was a 50% off when I purchased it.

As a whole, I like Wemo products and this is no exception. I did have to set it up several times to get it connected properly, but set up, and for that matter disconnecting. is easy. This one is nice do to the small size, only covers one plug. Wemo software is tops, easy to set up timers and connect toegether.

Love my Wemo plugs. These work so much better than the philips Hue lightbulbs. I find those unreliable and the Wemo has features that allow me to set to come on at sunset or x mins before, and the off at a specific time. Hue bulbs will allow you to use but there is no ability to shutoff at specific time.

Purchased these for Apple HomeKit support. They provide a strong connection, however, when I had it set up with Amazon Alexa, I've had to reset it once or twice.
