Difficult to set up. Extremely difficult to reset when you change your network password

Great product. Really easy to add to my smart home system

Once set up, these smart plugs are a joy to use especially with apple homekit. However, getting them set up and functioning correctly was not at all straightforward and required much research and trial and error before finally finding getting them to work as intended. In order to get them to work and be recognized in homekit I had to: 1. Download Wemo app and create/verify account. After doing this, completely close the app. 2. Turn iphone to airplane mode and disconnect everything but wifi 3. Connect plug to outlet 4. Once plug is in setup mode, go to wifi settings on phone disconnect from home wifi and connect to plug wifi. 5. Open Wemo app and manually configure device. Once configured, completely close app. 6. Connect to home wifi again, and relaunch wemo app. 7. Go to settings a select connect to another service, homekit, and then connect on device.

This plug (all seven that I have now) worked reliable this whole Christmas season letting us control Christmas lights throughout the house from our cell phones--while at home or on the road.

WeMo seems to be one of the smart home products companies that has got it right. This smart plug sets up simply, and plays well with a home automation system.

I love these things - works for anything pretty much and gives more options depending on what it is- such as a light or something. Works well with the Apple home app too.

Great product. Using it for my Christmas tree and my outside lights that are plugged inside my garage. Easy set up and love the convenience.

The second Wemo plug I’ve purchased. Love this product easy to download app. Love that it works with iPhone and Siri. Also love the option to set lights to come on at the same time everyday.

HomeKit savvy WiFi outlet. Simply works and well at that. The accompanying app is clear, simple and uncluttered. It might take you a few times for the initial pairing but never after that.

I love this smart plug. It works perfectly with the light I have it plugged into. Also, using the button on the side of the device when I do not have the app close by.

Great smart plug if you're using homekit in your house. There are other cheaper alternatives if you use Alexa or Google, but if you're all in on Apple and homekit, this is the plug to get.

I like these - and Apple HomeKit compatibility is a nice addition. You do need to make sure you are on a non-5ghz wifi when trying to scan and connect or it will fail Homekit setup (I have both in the house and other Wemo devices are connected to the older standard). You need to manually switch to the older frequency - Something that wasn't obvious in the instructions.

These wifi plugs I love. I kept one gave one to my sister and one to my son. I'm going back for more. I love comi g in the house and say Alexa turnbonbthe living room light. So easy!

It’s ok, sometimes loses connection and have to reset.

Outstanding product for use with my Alexa equipment to make table lamps, etc. work. Nice quality... easy installation. I appreciate that it comes in a 3-pack - very convenient.

I don't know why people are complaining about this one. Connect real easy, took me about 2 minutes to set it up. I like it more than the previous model.
