These are homekit accessories for iphone and sometimes they can get "can not connect" error after iOS updates. Highly recommend using the wemo app.

My Awesome Smart Plug Review

It was a great deal that I couldn't pass up. $30 for 3 versus $75. The plug may be smart, but apparently I'm not smart enough to come up with something useful that I can plug into them yet. I'm sure I'll find a use for them soon. I know, not the most helpful review. Just posting this for my 25 points.
