My first impression was like "this better work well because it's a bit pricey" but it turned out to be a great choice. It works really well with my dimmable LED. I will get more as soon as i save up. But it's worth every penny man. When it's on sale it's even better

I bought 2 of these to replace two dimmers that I was using in my basement. I would get flickering with the old dimmers and my family always thought the house was going to "burn down". I was hoping that these WeMo Dimmer switches would not have any flickering and so far so good. I am using LED can lights that are dimmable. When you are setting this switch through the app, it asks if the lights flicker, mine didn't, so I am not sure what would happen if they did flicker???? Anyway they work great! The install was very easy, had the first one set up for start to finish within 15 minutes and I have never wired up a light switch before. The second one was even quicker. I did have some basic knowledge and utilized YouTube just to make sure I understood everything. They work great with the Amazon Echo. Now when I forget to turn off the basement lights and the top of the stairs I can just ask Alexa to take care of it!

I've owned wemo switches for several years and have had them in three houses each time I take them with me. Great for switch locations on opposite ends of house such as outside lights and being able to set a program. I've always wanted one that was able to dim and now I'm just as happy as pig in mud. I have eight outside led lights hooked up to this and it is fantastic being able to dim them down just enough to see but not blinding the neighbors. Easy install and very easy setup. I'm buying more for the house. Plus you can even turn these on and off when in another country or set it up on random during away mode.

Great product! Easy(ish) to install and connect to the Wemo app and to our Echo. Only downside is a slight flicker at low level lighting when using LED bulbs that work fine with our old dimmer switch. Works great with incandescent bulbs. We will be looking for different LED bulbs to see if it's a compatibility issue. Otherwise, I would recommend highly for the functionality and fairly seamless home automation capabilities!

Works great, easy to install if you know how to handle replacing a switch or an outlet. Which isn't to hard if you look it up on youtube or search it on Google. The instructions that come with it are also very helpful. Just be sure to shut of the power going to the switch and then test to make sure it is truly off. Also comes with the bonus feature of being able to turn off all your WeMo devices. You can enable the feature in the app. Then when you hold the On/Off button for 2secs it will toggle all the lights either on, off, or on/off!

I'm a big fan of the WEMO line of switches and outlet plugs. This dimmer works really well and it's easy to adjust the dimmer. I do prefer a mechanical dimmer, but this works and the style is awesome. It took several minutes to get it paired with my WIFI router. It seems to have difficulty with dual band routers as I've had setup issues with all my WEMO switches.

This was my first purchase into wifi lighting, purely because I didn’t see a smart dimmer that looked worthy of a purchase. This item dropped, and already being familiar with what WeMo has to offer, I bought two. My switch is a little far from my bed, so the dimmer is perfect for having a light on while in bed and giving me the ability to turn it off without getting up. Scheduling brightnesses is a brilliant touch that I would have never considered. Holding down the slider to get a quick change in brightness is also a great addition.

I liked the finish on this product. And the LED colors indicating different ways the dimmer is controlled. I like all the little features that make this a simple yet great product overall. Works well with my Alexas and Nest - Pretty NEAT. Only Caveat - I had to enable the ‘Wemo Skill’ on the Alexa App to make the Dimmer discoverable and controllable by Alexa. I guess, this is required to support the extra “dimming” capability supported by this product. Other Wemos (that just let you control on and off) don’t seem to need this skill.

I am not an electrician but after reading easy to understand little instruction booklet and downloading the app I was quite confident. After turning off the power and unscrewing the current wall switch I was faced with something that looked quite different than the pictures in the book. The box had a ground, black and white wire not the 4 wires (including a neutral - whatever that is) shown in the instructions. So, I called tech support and my concerns were confirmed this will not work in my home. So my review score has nothing to do with the device or the very friendly tech support dude I spoke with but I could not give more than one star to something I cannot use. You might want to check the website online before purchasing to check for compatibility before purchase.

Great dimmer. Attractive physical switch. Easy install. Set it up to also work through Google home and does so flawlessly. My only complaint is that in the setting for dusk to dawn preset, it turns on at dusk, without fail, but never turns off in the morning.

I was shopping for light switches and dimmers, and decided to give Wemo a chance. I'm so glad I did! Easy so, NO HUB needed, and they work great. I've purchased several more since my first. Anyone can install them, anyone can have a smart home now. Great purchase, and great app too. Easily integrates with some other Smart Home products. Great buy!!

Works great, easy setup. Works with Alexa. No problems.

I was using a lamp with a smart plug being controlled by Alexa. We installed recessed lighting and could no longer control it with Alexa. Sad day! After some research, we settled on the Wemo Dimmer because it did not not need a hub. After having to run a neutral wire in my older home, it was installed. I love it! Works great with Alexa too.

My iPhone had trouble setting up most of the 25 Wemo devices that I bought. Some devices worked flawlessly, but with most the app crashed a couple times, specifically at the wifi setup screen. Once i got the devices registered, I had touble updating firmware. In this case, most worked fine, but some were very stubborn to apply the update, requiring a couple manual reset switch pushes. And now that they are all registered and updated, the app works well when I am on my WiFi at home. I am unable to control all devices remotely on my mobile connection - some work. I'm disappointed, but there is no way I'm removing all these switches now.

I was hesitant to permanently install any home automation device however have had 4 other WEMO plugin switches. The first was purchased 7/2014 and is working perfectly along with the other 3 purchased in the subsequent two years. The dimmer works exactly as expected and control via the app and Echo Dot works great too.

Easy to install and calibrate. Supported my LED lights as well. Overall a great product

I bought this light switch to automate my bathroom. I really enjoy the ability to setup features of the switch. Pretty easy to setup and very easy to control. I have linked it to a WeMo bridge and tied it to the Home app in iOS.

Great for dimming lights for movie time. Also great to hop into bed and ask Alexa to turn off the light. Fairly simple install and setup. Paired with Alexa easily. Just need to make sure you use the same Wi-Fi network.

Very good instructions included in the package. Easy to install and works extremely well! Bought two other Wemo devices and the hub now Siri controls my entire setup with ease! Also works with my google home!
