I would HIGHLY recommend this to people who are unable to run a TV power plug through their wall (fire hazard/illegal in many places) as this will give a more seamless look. Also easier to manage than a wall mounted tv with more accessibility to the tv itself and plent of room and cable management. Yet, it still offers a very similar overall look and feel compared to a wall mounted tv

Shelves provide easy access for multiple units (Video players, game units, etc.). Looks fantastic. It does take a little bit of building, so be ready.

Sensitive Buyers Attention

The first problem I had with this Item was the factory made holes didn't line up with some of the screws. I had to manually make my own to complete the installation. The 2nd problem was the standard screws provided for television mount. Depending on the model, I had to go to homedepot to get a longer bolt for the television. Other than that, item works as described, and looks great!

Our living room is designed in Mediterranean motif. Our concern was this TV stand looked too modern. Amazingly the Whalen 3-in-1 Console fits in perfectly.

Loved the first so much we bought another for different room. The floating mount is awesome, especially with kids and it grips tv and hangs tight. Is also movable left and right almost like a full motion mount and has the ability to tilt up and down still to avoid and glare from windows. Thinking of buying another for new house!
