Stand looks great and very sturdy. It took me a couple of hours to assemble it but worth the time after seeing the final product.

Very happy with my purchase. Well built and nice design.

For the most part, assembly was OK. The doors, though, were next to impossible to put on. I had to remove the pre-installed hinges from the doors, then connect the hinges to the main body, and then, reconnect the doors. Also, the pre-drilled holes for the back do not quite line-up correctlly. There is an app that will help you step-by-step...but it's not videos...more like computer-animated illustrations. Once it was put together, it looks nice in the living room.

I got this stand for my parents when I got them their new tv. Once it’s built it’s great, getting it built was incredibly annoying. They should provide a third arm in the box as a necessary tool. Overall I’m happy with it but I will warn you. The hinges for the doors seem simple in theory but in reality they’re awful. Idk if we just got a bad one where the hinges were out of wack but instead of being a simple push and click we ended up having to take them off the cabinet, adjust them, connect the door side, then reattach the assembly as a whole. Again once it’s together it’s very sturdy and good looking.

Beautiful cabinet! The only down fall was the difficulty with hinge doors. Other than that the cabinet is perfect!!

I love the TV stand that I purchased as it is big enough for everything that I intend on using it for, the one and only complaint is I wish the back was a little more solid. As well as the holes for the wires are too small especially the one in the middle. I think personally it would been better if the hole in the middle was about the same size as the ones on the side. Definitely a lil smaller than those ones but bigger than the current hole.

I wanted a entertainment console that is taller so that our television is higher than normal. I also wanted enclosed shelving since we struggle with dust and dog dander. This item was fairly easy to put together and is very well made. The only problem that I encountered is that one hinge on one of the doors was the wrong hinge and I was unable to install the door. I contacted Whalen twice....once by their website direct mail and once by phone. Both times they did not acknowledge that the request was being handled but then about a 10 days later I received an email that the hinges were shipped. Unfortunately they were of a different style and still would not allow me to attach the door. Fortunately Best Buy had another unit available so I took the door to Best Buy and customer service opened the other unit and switched out the doors for me. Best Buy is awesome and if an item is available from them that is where I buy it.

I love this tv stand! It’s perfect! Comes with a marker to fix scratches that may happen! It literally makes it look like there’s nothing there! It’s not too big either! My fiancé said it was the easiest piece of furniture he’s ever put together!

Very clean and easy to assemble and very clean and pleasing to the eye

My wife put this together in no time, and everything fit as intended and all the parts are there. I really like the height of this it is a good 6 inches taller than the one it replaces, the only down side I have found for now is the main place to put my receiver, the cutout for the wires and cable for home theater system is not big enough, so will have to modify!

WE got this because we discovered (after purchase) that the TV has feet that are too far apart for the old TV stand. It works well to hold TV, cable stuff, and DVD stuff. The spiffy Euro style hinges were really hard to get aligned right, a couple of the doors still aren't cool, but we don't open them much. The stand works for its main purpose.

The entertainment center I purchased was very good, but a little harder to put together than I thought it would be. It would be great if it was a little bigger, however, the quality of the product was good and it looks nice in the room.

Bought this stand for my new TV, when I opened the box, the top of the stand was busted, returned it for a new top...no issues, easy to assemble but very sturdy, color matches my new furniture in my den, best stand I've ever owned.

Product had a history of reviews for damaged pieces, but given the overall positive 4.0 I thought I’d give it a shot. When opening the package I found that nothing was damaged and was pleased. However, upon putting together the foundational pieces I noticed there was an alignment issue from the left and right side panels that are keyed and can only fit one way into the base panel. I have been using 3D instructions as a form of buddy checking my work. It is impossible I have found to proceed putting what looked to be a beautiful tv console. My worst fear is not even being able to get a refund or let alone a replacement piece an any decent amount of time (a month, 2, 3???). I am now stuck with a useless incomplete furniture piece that is taking up almost the entirety of my living room space in my small apartment.

A great TV stand! Very sturdy. Only downsides is that some areas near the bottom panel have a slight gap and it came with two screws missing for the door handles. Support isn't able to help due to the product being EOL.

Assembly took about an hour. Decent quality for the price. Do not over tighten the fasteners or they will break. Over all I am very pleased with my purchase.

Cabinet is very well made and looks beautiful with our new 65" SONY BRAVIA OLED smart tv.

This piece is really nice, and putting it together was fairly easy, but one of the handles to the cabinets were too long and wouldn't fit. We called the company and they sent a replacement handle, complete with ALL of the installation pieces... Once we got the handle on, we found the pre-drilled holes to attach the cabinet doors were off balance as well. My husband had to remove the hardware and make his own holes in the console. It's a nice piece overall, but the manufacturer needs to take better care at making sure everything fits correctly.

The baseboard was significant, because it’s ability to hold weight was severely compromised. In other words, the crack resulted in the baseboard bending in the middle, and it would break, if not for the fact that it was supported on the bottom frame. Having said that Whalen customer support is good, and they answered the phone pretty quick and had the part in stock to send out. However, I put the thing together, not wanting to wait around, and I am probably going to call him and tell them not to bother sending the other piece. I don’t plan on putting anything heavy on that bottom baseboard anyway. The quality of the wood chosen for this product could have been somewhat different.

This is a nice looking TV stand and is strudy. Might not handle heavy wear and tear, as it’s not made with the the highest quality materials. But regardless, it doesn’t look cheap. Plan on spending a couple hours putting it together.
