Alignment Manufacturing Defects!

We followed the assemble instructions verbatim and everything went fine until we attempted to connect the legs. That's where the whole assemblage process went awry. Needless to say, we had completed 80% of the assembly process by the time we reached this point, only to discover that the bolt holes for the end support or legs did not align with the connecting holes in the shelf and the screws were not long enough. We like the look of the TV stand, but it does have manufacturing defects that will prevent you from securely assembling the unit. Is there any way we could be reimbursed a percentage of our purchase cost since we're stuck with a useable but defective TV stand unit.

Please do not fully tighten all bolts until you finish assembling all parts. Once assembled, go back and fully tighten all bolts. This will make the assembly easier.
