    This unit is great in theory but poor in FUNCTION. Saves space where you want and need it, but the controls are partly behind the door and only three functions are from the outside which is inconvenient. Beware the less expensive model shows fingerprints, and the food WILL NOT heat evenly throughout unless you buy a different brand like Kitchen aid with a "sensor" feature which I believe solves this. For the money this was a disappointment it solves one challenge at the expense of an IMPORTANT function.

    Love The Look Of The Microwave

    The microwave was installed last August and already is not working. Last evening I put something in and after it was finished the door would not open. I called for service and was told I will have to wait 6 days before someone can come. I do like the look of this microwave and it’s very easy to operate.

    Broke within 2 years.

    Worked ok for 2 years , the plastic button that determines if the door is closed broke, making it useless today.

    Worst product ever.

    This is the worst designed product. The door hits you on the head when you’re using it. The turn table does not work correctly and is always lopsided no matter how many times you reset it. The glass turntable broke within 2 months of use and it took another 4 months to get the replacement.

    Poor manufacturing design

    This model does not support changing the position of the vent motor to vent the air on top but instead you have to switch some covers on the top that should redirect the air to the upper exhaust vent. This is causing the air(smell) partially entering back in your kitchen. Poor manufacturing design.

    Peeling paint

    Whirlpool is poor quality

    Stove light on bottom of microwave went out after 2 years and is very expensive to replace. Also had two other Whirlpool appliances break in the past years. I'm done with poor quality Whirlpool products and suggest getting another brand.

    Please do not purchase for your own good

    Made the purchase and waited for the whole month only to get a broken one. After that was told this can only be returned but not replaced. No channel to report the issues or concerns. No apology for the first broken item and the long wait

    Terrible installation

    They installed the unit but they missed venting the air outside through the duct. All the air is recirculating inside our kitchen now!

    Over-priced

    Smaller, simpler unit than a typical counter-top model, but at 2 - 3 times the price. Really over-priced! Whirlpool can do a lot better for the masses.
