Perfect for the space that was available for mounting!!

i thought I would like the shorter profile but it turns out that it sticks out farther than the traditional models making it harder to access the cabinets above. It is also harder to reach into and so not as easy to place the stuff to be heated without tipping the rotating plate off its base. Not a good choice for short people. You also have to open the door to set the timer. I prefer the control panel on the outside like traditional microwaves

conviently located above stove top and does an great job on cooking or reheating.

The low profile is a lot nicer than the old microwave we had before. For an old home with cabinets that are different than new ones it works a lot better. I will have to get a stool to get up on to reach over the microwave to the cabinets above it. It does stick out farther than the old one did. But that is okay because it is nice and quiet.

If you are looking for a minimal profile microwave, this is the option to select. This works the exact same as traditional 'bulky' microwave, but looks cleaner and sleeker in the kitchen. We had a possible concern about whether or not all items would fit in a shorter microwave, but we have not come across anything that hasnt worked!

During our kitchen remodel we discovered that we didn’t have enough space for a standard height microwave, so we purchased this one. This microwave is plenty big and looks great. Much more modern looking then big chunky microwaves. Everyone comments how great it looks. The change to vent out instead of in was super easy. Happy with the purchase.

Although this is called "low profile", it is the exact same interior size of the old one I am replacing. It fits perfectly in the existing opening. The only bad point about this product is the lack of operating instructions in the owner's manual. I've only been able to use the 30 second button, or multiples of 30 seconds, to cook.

It is a great microwave with led lights and fan multi speeds.

Bought a home and was in need of a microwave. This was a perfect fit.

I love the appearance of the Lo Profile. Not to difficult to install ( 2 people are better ). Operation of microwave is pretty quiet, the bell (beep) is very quiet. The fan moves more air than what I had.

Fit nice. Features worked as advertised. Smaller size has not diminished usefulness. Works much more safely higher above stove. Very pleased with our whirlpool microwave.

the Whirlpool low profile microwave may look small but it can handle whatever I need to microwave. The only thing that I would like to have different is a button for particular items like popcorn. Otherwise, it is easy to use and the size allows for so much more room between the stop top and the bottom of the microwave.

Did good job installing. Looks great in my kitchen. Gives me more room between top of stove and bottom of microwave.

Works great, very clean lines. Beware, since it is shorter it means that the backsplash may not work the same exposing some bare wall. Also, the cavity is quite capable of handling most items but taller bottles or glasses may not fit. Overall, love it.

Overall I am happy with the microwave. It has a lower profile to leave more room over the stove. The fan works reasonably well. 1 feature I am not thrilled with is in order to put time on the machine the door needs to be open. You can add 30 seconds on at time but to add more time you need to open the door. Next generation should have all the buttons on the outside of the door.

Love my microwave, my Best Buy sales person listened to my needs. What a space saver and so many great options with my Microwave.

Looks great over our new oven, lights are good and fan options works very well.

I'm giving 2 stars due to the defective exhaust fan, and an extremely poor install/replacement service. Once this replacement/install is resolved, I will probably never order or ask Best Buy to install another appliance again. I ordered this whirlpool low profile microwave over a week ago, and then picked it up at Best Buy. I later ordered a service to have Best Buy (Geek Squad) install the microwave. The installer (Abdul) identified the defective motor during installation, took a video to document it, but apparently never reported it to Best Buy. The next day, I spoke w/ Best Buy support on Chat, and was told a replacement would be scheduled for this week (Today). The delivery team came today, but then told me they could only replace (pick up and return) but not uninstall and install the new one. The delivery team told me they don't even install microwaves, and left w/ the new microwave. This is a real disappointment. I now have to wait for the delivery team to return the new microwave to the warehouse later today. And then, I can call back to schedule another attempt at replacing/installing the original defective microwave.
