The wheels are mounted on a triangular shaped piece that fits below the glass and it to fit in the groove in the unit. This can be done but once the unit starts to turn it comes off the track and whatever you are heating starts to slide off the turntable.

Only complaint are the buttons are a little hard to push to turn the fan and light on. They are capacitive and if your hands are wet at all you will struggle turning the light or fan on.

After only a few months, it began to arc and spark, it was repaired under the warranty. Now, 2 years later and it stopped working completely in the middle of cooking. I love the concept of this, but I am not sure the details were well thought out! I am very disappointed!!

Perfect fit for low hanging cabinets
