Not good for short people

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i thought I would like the shorter profile but it turns out that it sticks out farther than the traditional models making it harder to access the cabinets above. It is also harder to reach into and so not as easy to place the stuff to be heated without tipping the rotating plate off its base. Not a good choice for short people. You also have to open the door to set the timer. I prefer the control panel on the outside like traditional microwaves

There are 2 vents on each side of the hood, and they are reusable! Easy to remove and clean. No need to purchase filters!
