After much research we decided this sleek microwave was perfect over the stove. No handle to open - all functions work with a light touch of the finger !

Allowed us to achieve more head room above the stove top for safety. Only downfall is that you need to add more time for heating due to the lower wattage.

Slim design. Heats food evenly. Easy to clean and operate

Have not had it in stalled yet, but so happy to have a low profile microwave and be able to cook on my back burners of my stove. Great contemporary clean look.

I love this microwave. It fits perfect over the stove and replaced a range hood. Took my son about 90 minutes to install it himself. No problems.

Would give 5 stars, but the fan is really loud, even on low, and super loud on high. It is set to circulate and blows out the top front. I wish it was quieter. Besides that, I was so excited to find a low profile that fit in my condo above the stove. Everyone said I’d never be able to get one to fit without ripping out the cabinets. It’s sleek and easy to use and powerful. Push a button and the door pops open really nicely. One other small downfall which took some getting used to is that the depth (front to back) seemed a bit big. It sticks out a bit far past my cabinets, seemingly further than a regular sized microwave would (I replaced and old fashioned hood so I’m not sure... but I’m thinking it does). So check the depth and not just the height if you plan to purchase. I have gotten used to it. And I’m happy it fits above my stove!!

This microwave/exhaust fan is awesome for those with limited space above their range. Its a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. THIS is worth it!

Needed a microwave to butt up against wall & this allows you to do this. Would say that it does leave a lot of fingerprints. But overall good product

Needed a microwave that fit in the space I had available over our range . This one fit like a glove . Fairly easy installation . So far so good .

I replaced my kitchen appliances a year ago and it took me that long to decide on an over-the-range microwave. After taking all the measurements, with a regular-sized microwave I would only have about 9 inches of clearance between the bottom of the microwave and the top of the range elements. I wanted a bigger clearance and I'd had my eye on this model since it first came out. I had read some iffy reviews about the turntable, noise, etc. and I was worried about the additional 4 inches of depth. I kept thinking it would stick out too far and look silly or get in the way. Then I measured my existing range hood and realized it was even deeper and I knew this would be okay. And it is. The depth doesn't diminish the sleek look of this thing. I've had no problem with the turntable. I agree the fan is a little noisy, but doable. I also agree that the light isn't very bright - again, I can live with it. My biggest con would be the wattage: My old, large, countertop microwave was a powerful workhorse that going strong after 14 years. This one is far less powerful. When food had a cooking time range, I always used to pick the lesser (and sometimes even less than that); now I have to add time to every set of cooking instructions or my food is still not cooked. It still works - you just have to extend the cooking times, which makes the pre-sets pretty useless, since they undercook, as well. The biggest pro is the sleek, gorgeous design and extra room above the range. I wouldn't change my decision - I know if I'd selected a larger microwave, it might have cooked faster, but I wouldn't have liked the look or the loss of space over the range. For me, the design makes up for everything else and I would still recommend it for that reason.

We were desperate for counter space in our small condo. This got the tabletop microwave off the counter. It is also just as powerful as a conventional microwave.

Very sleek design. Classy look. Thought it would be too small for most containers, but they fit just right. Very functional and takes up much less space

First of all I’m not a fan of Best Buy and there prices and I thought I was paying a premium for this microwave because it could fit in a small foot print. Not so, it has useful features not found on full size under cabinet microwaves. I have only had it installed for a week so I can’t speak for longevity but it seems like a very well made unit. The installation was easy as long as you put down the instructions and instead watch a the utube video which explains that the back plate is also the top mounting hole template. The feature are great right down to the pleasing tones it uses. The local venting also works better than expected. Cook power is good and it has room for 99% of what you use a microwave for. Definitely recommended for people with limit cabinetry height and even for those who have the height for a normal microwave and don’t mind paying a premium.

It looks great and works great. It is a rear exhaust which is what we were looking for. The slim design gives more space above the stovetop. Great product.

I bought this one because it had the lowest profile of all the others. I've had no issue with it.
