Had a great experience with Best Buy install and love my new microwave. Works perfect and is a perfect addition to my kitchen.

We love the look and way it cooks. Great counter space saver. We got rid of our outdated hood over the stove.

Love the microwave but it came dented. Thought if I put it up it would hide the dent but it didn’t and now I have to look at it in my kitchen with the dent in it every day. Such a disappointment

Still waiting for an outlet to be wired for the microwave to work. The range hood was direct wired. The microwave needs an outlet. The product description says best buy will take care of it.

Black Model without the stainless skin. Plastic at the bottom of the door started cracking after about a month. Just small lines but after using for less than one year, we have plastic pieces falling off the bottom of the door trip below the window area. Need to get this resolved/replaced but not point in replacing the door if the plastic will just crack again. I would have expected Whirpool to have used the phenolic type of plastic used in oven doors at the top of the black units where the handle attaches. These never crack so why would they use a cheaper plastic on a microwave that is supposed to be used above a cooktop.

I pulled it out of the box and one of the sides is damaged. The mounting will cover most of it. I’m debating on whether or not to have it replaced. I’m knee deep in the install since I’ve removed the old microwave. I will update after the install is completed

Dent on back corner, had to return. Heavy to reload in box and return to store. Then order another, pick up, deliver, unbox, all again.

Not a fan of this microwave. It’s wider than the old one and not as long so now the backsplash does not meet up with the microwave. You have to open the door just to set the timer.

Quite a bit louder than the one it replaced but we like the features so far.

I've been waiting for this low profile Over the range microwave for a few years already. They used to make these more often but then every company went the bigger is better way and I was stock with an Whirlpool unit that hung only 15 inches above the stove. Not a good thing if you wanna keep your microwave free from grease and have proper venting while cooking. This 7011 unit is great, low profile that now sits whole 20 inches above the stove. Planty room to pull in the cooking steams and remain clean from oil and grease. The install was a little tricky for me as the cabinet mounting holes required a minimum 12 inches distance away from the back wall but my old cabinets are only 12 inches away so the drilled holes ended up being right next to the end rim of the cabinet and prevented me from easily using the provided washers. I ended up cutting into the cabinet rim to be able to slide the washer into it and aligning the whole with the mounting bolt. In the end its a very strong hold. Another problem with the install was that the none of the wall mounting holes aligned with the studs in the wall and I didnt wanna use the ankers if I didn't have to so I decided not to use any of the pre-drilled mounting holes and drilled 4 holes through the metal mounting bracket directly into the studs, two at the top of the bracket and two at the bottom. In the end much stronger install then using the wall ankers in my opinion. I love this microwave. It looks great giving an updated look to an outdated kitchen, lol, and prevented me from cutting down the cabinets to be able to fit regular size microwave. p.s. Just be ready to do something with the extra space on the back wall that is left under the microwave . Mine left a bare wall so before installing the new unit I had to place some stone tiles where the regular tiles were missing, just an extra time spent but make sure to plan for that when replacing a larger unit with this one. Microwave looks nice but cost more than It should. Not fingerprint resistant the turn table tray does not stay in place ive had a 30$ microwave that had no issues with the tray moving causing food to spill over while heating up

Disgusting, The new microwave was damaged as you can see by the picture I have supplied. I don't think the microwave could even be sold as "As Is." Probably was also damaged internally. The delivery people were extremely courteous and professional. Apologized for the inconvenience. They put the damaged goods back on the truck.

I gave this microwave 4 stars because the underside light is pitifully low and almost useless. What was whirlpool engineering thinking using an underpowered 3 LED light behind a frosted glass? I cut and installed a clear glass panel to allow more light to shine through to the range top. I hope the rest of this microwave works better than the underside light.

I purchase this microwave for about two weeks ago. The microwave looks great in my kitchen. It fit in my kitchen very well for the little cabinet space we had. It’s easy to clean. The instructions were a little difficult to understand. My husband was able to get the microwave install in a day, with a little help of YouTube. I wish the display would show the microwaves functions before purchasing the microwave at Best Buy. There are a few things that are negative about the microwave. First of all the light is not very bright. The light is to dim for the two selections on it. If I do not have my kitchen lights on I would not be able to see what I’m cooking. My old hood had a better light. The vent hood does not pull out all the smoke out. I tried it with the carbon filters in and without the carbon filters my house was still full of smoke. The exhaust fan is very loud compared to my old vent hood. I read everyone’s review before I purchased it. The reviews were raving about it but I’m not too happy with it. I wish I went with a different system.

Two years in, I'm pretty happy with this microwave. Very powerful, looks great. Two complaints: first, the door hinge already squeaks quite a bit. Second, the bottom LED light that shines down onto the stove blow is extremely weak. I'd rather have an incandescent bulb with some brightness.

This unit is the perfect size for a small space. Looks and works great. Some great features like the easy open for example. Fans blow even harder then the old hood and installation was easier than I expected. Very pleased.

This was the best purchase i made! It is extremely nice and fit our kitchen perfect!

Great for tight spacing, opens up range for higher pots , or boiling large pans of water. Quiet and easy to use clean overall look
