Quiet and visually appealing. Thin design does not detract from interior space, I have had no issues with things not fitting.

This microwave was the only one we could find to replace out exhaust hood over our stove that would fit with the correct amount of space between the top of the stove to the bottom of the microwave. It’s very nice looking, works good, only downside is the stainless steel is hard to keep clean, but that is pretty normal for stainless appliances. Little pricey but, kinda expected for its unique size and shape.

I have been using for 2 months now and I love this microwave! It is very sleek and modern looking. The low profile is just what I needed for the space I have. I was kinda worried about the space inside but it is surprisingly roomy. It has held everything I put in it like casserole dish, serving bowl, drinking glass etc...It is quiet and cooks great! Has a light underneath and a fan. My husband did the install and said it was fairly easy to do. He did need assistance, as it is a very solid piece. Happy and satisfied with my purchase :)

I’ve had this microwave for over 2 years. Live in an old house built in 1955. My old microwave broke, and the new ones that would fit over my stove were at least 2 inches longer leaving NO room to do anything with the back burners. This microwave gives me 2 1/2 inches more room than my previous one. I have not experienced anything I could not fit in this microwave. Works flawlessly! And gives me SO much more room on my stove top! I love it!

I like the low profile. The turn table does run a little noisy and rough it seems to catch as it it going around. But otherwise works good.

I’ve had it for 5 months now. Perfect. Fan is great. Easy to clean. My friends always compliment the sleek look. Excellent for reheating coffee and is bigger inside than appears.

I bought this 3 weeks ago and just installed it yesterday. It was easy to install and looks very sleek. Easy to use and really opens up the area and makes my small kitchen look better. Seems to be more powerful than my last microwave so I will have to adjust time and power level on some of my foods. Hopefully we will have a long and happy life together!

Basic features. No bells and whistles which suits me fine. Love the size. Sleek, leaving ample room above the stovetop.

Bought this to replace a much larger 20 year old GE Profile. The low profile is great. It frees up so much space over the range/stove top. It's also sleek, shiny and quiet. The modern chimes and touch screen are really nice. The only downside was the directions are very complicated and took multiple times reading to fully understand. It would have been easier if the instructions said simply use the template to drill holes and securely attach the mounting bracket so it is level front to back and side to side. As it is I didn't see anyplace it said to check level front to back, and since my cabinet has a slight lip on the front the microwave is a little lower in the front than in the back. It doesn't affect use so I'll probably leave it because it is a heavy job lifting it into the space. It fits perfectly and looks great!

This is my first review ever. Surprised my wife for Christmas and then my son and I did the installation Christmas Day. We specifically needed a low profile microwave and the Whirlpool 1.1 cu. ft. was exactly what I was looking for. Set up was easy, backplate instructions are well written and easy to follow. Took us about 20 minutes to mount. Best feature for me is the "sensor" setting when cooking or reheating your food. Also for those like me who are cooking challenged works like a charm. Only thing I would change is maybe the addition of brighter light , the exhaust fan does a great job and is you can hardly hear it, our old exhaust hood sounded like a jet engine on take-off. Guys at Best Buy loaded the microwave right into my trunk, no touch no contact...thanks guys .

My old microwave vent was too big and too close to the hot stove which shortened its life. This microwave is shorter and sleeker. I like the clean front panel and the fact that the sides are also stainless steel (not the case for some others I looked at). The vent works well, the surface light could be brighter. The touch pad sensors are not always responsive so you may need to push the numbers carefully. Overall, I'm satisfied with this purchase.

Love the look of this microwave. Fits great and cleans up really well. The light and fan options were a bonus! Great product. Installed ourselves with no issues.

Wanted to replace my older range hood with a microwave. A traditional microwave would have hung too low and made it hard to access back burners on stove. This microwave is low profile and looks great and allows access to back of stove. If your home was built with microwave already above stove than this microwave isn’t necessary. As far as looks and operations it works great, has light on bottom to illuminate stove and a four speed exhaust fan than can be configured to recirculate or duct outside. Plenty of room inside and it’s super quiet. The fingerprint resistance model is best option.

I purchased this open box microwave because I needed a brand that would last longer than my last LG 2 ft.³ microwave. (It lasted only 29 months) This unit is the smallest microwave @ 1.1 ft.³I’ve ever purchased in terms of size. I’ve only had it a couple days and I really really like it. It is very quiet when it runs. That’s a major plus for me.

Love this microwave! Installation was pretty straight forward and easy to do. The microwave is the perfect size for smaller spaces, but excellent functionality! Easy to use and understand. I like that you can push a button to open the door without getting it dirty. Only drawback was after install the stainless steel trim was rubbing when opening and closing, but was fixed by simply pushing it back. Made it feel a little cheap in that respect. I would still recommend this microwave for sure!

The size of this microwave does not hinder it's productivity. It is smooth & sleek, looks nice. It's size is what sold me & I was not disappointed! I had limited space over range & this microwave gave me so much more room. The light & fan work as well as the larger microwaves. It does not come with an instruction book & is somewhat confusing. I've had to figure out how & what to do myself. The installer have me a fast once over but I could've used a reference manual. Overall I am very happy with the microwave & the quick installation.

I replaced my kitchen appliances a year ago and it took me that long to decide on an over-the-range microwave. After taking all the measurements, with a regular-sized microwave I would only have about 9 inches of clearance between the bottom of the microwave and the top of the range elements. I wanted a bigger clearance and I'd had my eye on this model since it first came out. I had read some iffy reviews about the turntable, noise, etc. and I was worried about the additional 4 inches of depth. I kept thinking it would stick out too far and look silly or get in the way. Then I measured my existing range hood and realized it was even deeper and I knew this would be okay. And it is. The depth doesn't diminish the sleek look of this thing. I've had no problem with the turntable. I agree the fan is a little noisy, but doable. I also agree that the light isn't very bright - again, I can live with it. My biggest con would be the wattage: My old, large, countertop microwave was a powerful workhorse that going strong after 14 years. This one is far less powerful. When food had a cooking time range, I always used to pick the lesser (and sometimes even less than that); now I have to add time to every set of cooking instructions or my food is still not cooked. It still works - you just have to extend the cooking times, which makes the pre-sets pretty useless, since they undercook, as well. The biggest pro is the sleek, gorgeous design and extra room above the range. I wouldn't change my decision - I know if I'd selected a larger microwave, it might have cooked faster, but I wouldn't have liked the look or the loss of space over the range. For me, the design makes up for everything else and I would still recommend it for that reason.
