We had no where to put a microwave and did not want to take up counter space. This worked perfectly. It is beautiful, bigger than it looks, and has a flawless look. Love the simplicity.

This microwave is awesome, it fits where normal size microwaves can't...its sleek, the button controls are awesome but it was a pain in the butt to install especially if you want to vent it out. I had a professional install it and it definitely did not look like fun.

Love the low profile design and the hood options. Very space efficient and attractive. What I am not happy about: (1) One side panel was bowed in about 1/4 inch or more, because the unit was hastily and incorrectly assembled; and (2) the tone for the timer/cooking cycle is barely audible and is non-adjustable. I'm trying to figure out why any manufacturer, especially Whirlpool, would sell a microwave which is incapable of producing an alert tone that cannot be heard more than a foot or two away. Still, it is the only nice looking and functional low profile microwave "out there," so I'm reasonably happy with my purchase.

Love this product. I needed a slimmer design. This fit the bill. The top and rear venting options. Touch to open panel. Performance is on par with comparable machines. Installation went well. Happy with the results.

I love my new microwave. The slim design adds just the right look to my kitchen. The microwave is very quiet even when you turn the fan on. The light is like the under cabinet light.

Have really enjoyed using it. It has all the features that we want in a microwave. It has plenty of space. Very efficient and user friendly.

The low profile saved me from having to remove cabinets and just have a shelf above stove. Fits everything we microwave, which isn't much. But popcorn bags fit.

Great size, for my family, and design of my kitchen.

Has provided trouble free service over the first year of use. Great replacement for the range hood and gave back a huge amount of work surface occupied by the previous microwave. Accepts large plates with ease. The concealed controls (behind the door) give it the clean look. It is deeper than the wall cabinet (of course) so initially, the working geometry of the range top is different than the $99 over the range hood but that adjustment takes about a week. I can't wait for the LED lights to fail so I can replace them with brighter ones. It will be a long wait!

It was not too hard to install. It does cost a bit more than others but it looks good and works well. It does take some time to become familiar with the preset heating options.

We have a 40 year old home, so kitchen counter space is limited. We love this microwave. It's got a very sleek look, and having the controls behind the door is great. It takes a little retraining-I still shut the door and then realize I didn't set the time first! The only reason for a 4 star rating is the ring under the carousel plate. It's an odd shape, and if you don't carefully position what your cooking over one of the wheels or directly in the center, the plate tips. Not a deal breaker, by any means, but it is what I would consider a design flaw and as such it affects my rating.

We are very satisfied with our purchase. This microwave gave us the space we were looking for above our gas stove. Easy to install.

The Low Profile Whirlpool model should be the only microwave you ever buy. Think about all the things you actually put in your microwave: plates to warm up food, maybe a cup to warm up coffee or tea. The existing models take up far too much space. I can't thank the Best Buy Rep enough for turning me on to this style. The only negative I have is that they charge almost $50 more for the "fingerprint resistant" style. Spoiler: It still gets fingerprints.

I love this new smaller microwave! I was concerned about the size at first, but I have had no problem last at all. I love the streamline look of it, and it works great! I highly recommend it.

We just installed this a week ago and it has been great, love the size as I didnt want a huge microwave. I think its expensive but I hope it last for a long, long time

Beautiful microwave. Works very well, fan is incredibly powerful, and the lighting is great. Size is perfect for my kitchen. It's a bit expensive but I'm still happy with it.
