The template to install it yourself was actually well thought out and makes the process a lot more simple. I like the venting a lot and it actually moves a lot more air than I expected - great microwave that fit the small space perfectly

A I had a restriction of space above the stove this worked well to replace non working unit. I love it! Looks good and works well. Fan on high setting is loud but I’m glad it’s ventilating cooking fumes. Doubles as overhead vent.

Expecting it to be great, sinc I haven’t had a microwave in6 years. Had to replace my exhaust fan, so decided to upgrade. Looking forward to having one again. Low profile looks super modern and won’t take away any counter space.

A space saver - and a "cabinet-raiser-upper" saver! The low profile looks nice, and the microwave has cooked everything just as we had hoped. Also - it matches our stove, for now. Quality product.

Great microwave to replace a range hood fan. It's very compact and has a lot of smart features like "sensing" mode which detects how much to cook common foods like a plate of leftovers, popcorn, reheating coffee, etc.

Our range has a wall on the left side that prevented us from installing an OTR microwave due to the door hitting the wall when opened. The design of this microwave allows opening with a wall on either side since the microwave door is not hinged at the end of the unit.

Best microwave I have ever owned! Low profile is the terrific for saving space.

This microwave was perfect for an over the range mount. My current cabinet configuration would not allow for a standard size, so this low profile microwave fit perfectly. Definitely recommend if you are limited on space.

Love this low profile over-the-range microwave oven! Just enough microwave for me - glad it is off my countertop. Love the fan speeds, the lights, and the overall operation.

Save space on the outside not the inside. Inside is plenty big for anything you could possibly need to put in a microwave.

I did liked microwaves above the stove, but this microwave is great since it provides more space above the stove top. The issue with heat damaging the bottom pervious microwaves I owned appears to be resolved it new version. If I had not discovered this product I would put a hood above the stove like at my other house.

The microwave works as designed. I like the automatic door open feature, and the sleek design. We have this is an open design kitchen concept so looks and function are important.

Works great, quiet when running and doesn’t persist making done sound after door has been opened!

This low profile microwave/ventilator is everything Whirlpool claims it is. No complaints about operation at all! Yes, each “touch” switch requires its own particular touch, but it’s all learning what to do. The vent works well (though for some reason part of the exhaust has to be piped back into the kitchen), and it’s all higher above our range so we can see our back burners for the first time! We had wanted to get a combo convection oven / air fryer, but our old microwave cratered, and we had to get a new one ASAP and not wait to see if such a combo might be available next year.

I am enjoying my new microwave. It is a little different, being up higher. I am still getting used to were all the buttons are. The over the stove fan and little are real nice. It was not to hard to install, my husband and I did it ourselves.

Overall pleased with the he Mircowave/range hood in compact design. The finish is on both sides as well as the front, however there should also be a finish panel for the top. Finish is finger print resistant however it does scratch easily. Still learning the features but its a very nice unit.

Great so far. Installation was smooth. Frustrated by price games - up and down constantly, back and forth…

Have always had the large micro, but this is perfect for the space that I have in area so for me works. If a family might want the larger but 1 or 2 people is great, and my dog love’s it too so I warm her rice and chicken in it.. perfect lol..

It's unfortunate that these low profile combos cost so much more than the full-size version. With that said, it was nice to replace my older hood vent with something sleek and modern without having to adjust my cabinets. It fits where the hood was. Overall, nice looking and convenient installation.
