I can’t believe that this compact model does everything our larger one did with a much smaller footprint

I'm giving 2 stars due to the defective exhaust fan, and an extremely poor install/replacement service. Once this replacement/install is resolved, I will probably never order or ask Best Buy to install another appliance again. I ordered this whirlpool low profile microwave over a week ago, and then picked it up at Best Buy. I later ordered a service to have Best Buy (Geek Squad) install the microwave. The installer (Abdul) identified the defective motor during installation, took a video to document it, but apparently never reported it to Best Buy. The next day, I spoke w/ Best Buy support on Chat, and was told a replacement would be scheduled for this week (Today). The delivery team came today, but then told me they could only replace (pick up and return) but not uninstall and install the new one. The delivery team told me they don't even install microwaves, and left w/ the new microwave. This is a real disappointment. I now have to wait for the delivery team to return the new microwave to the warehouse later today. And then, I can call back to schedule another attempt at replacing/installing the original defective microwave.

Didn’t think I would like it but it surprised me. Easy to use. Install it so the people in your house are tall enough to reach the item in the microwave. We all are so it’s great!

This is the Best microwave out on the market! We shopped around for days and decided to change to above stove style to give extra counter room and we are so happy we did! It was pretty easy to install, and not only does it look awesome . But it works amazingly better than any other microwave I have ever used in my 38 years of life. If your thinking about it just spend the extra paper and get it !

One of my treasured purchases, I remember how easy and convenient it was to have someone come to my place and see what was best suited for the space. The quickest and most convenient way to shop.

Works well as an above range vent and microwave. Only wish it wouldn't have a touchscreen button to open door.

Installation instructions was a little confusing, I figured it out after a bit. Once installed. The unit was great. Be careful it heats food well in a fraction of the time. Supervise all kids when using the unit over a stove. Installed ductless so it vents out the top into kitchen space. It is apparent when the fan is running. Not quiet. The underneath bulb is not as bright as previous hood vent. I plan to install 2 lights. Wife is :)

When we updated our kitchen we had not enough space above the stove. Then we found this compact microwave, and it was a perfect fit. Installation was easy and fast. Settings are very strait forward, and works very well. I will recommend this to anyone looking to cover small space on your stove or range.

This microwave fits, looks, and works beautifully in a location space constrained where all other over-the-range microwaves simply wouldn't work. It has about a 2" offset on the left side. So the door opens right to left, but the microwaves front corner doesn't bump up against the wall. It's also perfectly sized and accommodates any and everything we want to cook, bake, or reheat.

Except for a short wait for the product, the delivery, installation and take away were all top rate!

I love the space I opened up with this microwave. It was easy to install with the the instructions. It works great and we have had no issues fitting anything in. I'm so glad I found this!

Did good job installing. Looks great in my kitchen. Gives me more room between top of stove and bottom of microwave.

i thought I would like the shorter profile but it turns out that it sticks out farther than the traditional models making it harder to access the cabinets above. It is also harder to reach into and so not as easy to place the stuff to be heated without tipping the rotating plate off its base. Not a good choice for short people. You also have to open the door to set the timer. I prefer the control panel on the outside like traditional microwaves

Works like a microwave is supposed to it's Not very tall but but save's enough room under it. It so I can put a pressure canner on my stove. You can't put tall things inbut we do not cook meals in it

Love my microwave, my Best Buy sales person listened to my needs. What a space saver and so many great options with my Microwave.

Excellent microwave for the price. It looks good installed.

Nice looking Microwave, fairly easy install requires extra hardware to adapt the vent to our existing ductwork. Works well both the microwave and the vent. It is a good replacement for the 30 year old kitchen vet we had before and also saves quite a bit of counter space. We haven’t needed the extra height that old microwave had. Nothing to complain about. Would recommend.
