Installation was relatively easy for a OTR microwave. Since the screw holes for the top screws didn't line up with the previous Whirlpool Microwave, I had to by some larger washers to help distribute the weight better. Microwave works great!

Havent had good luck with appliances. Seems things built today are throw away products. Hopefully this brand of microwave proves me wrong.

This is an inexpensive unit that needed to replace the old one. Works similar - no fuss, no frills microwave. Seems a little louder than the previous model.

Works great. Replaced a similar model that stoped working for no real reason. Just would not always heat sometimes yes sometimes no.

I love using this microwave for popcorn. This microwave comes with a light over the stove. This microwave works easy and has plenty of options.

It's a nice microwave just not as flexible in setting selection as I was used to. Maybe if I had this first I would feel differently. It's new so I can't comment on durability.

Two days before Thanksgiving and our Whirlpool microwave suffered from some door switch failure. This cannot stand. Best Buy had this 1.7 cu ft model on sale for Black Friday, "Sweet!" I thought. It's one step down from the dead one (I can't get parts to verify the cause of failure on old one until after Thanksgiving), but that's okay, the holes and support should line up - no problem. And, the price is right! The fan turns on automatically whenever you use the microwave. No matter what. Not because the stove or oven is hot. The fan turns on. You cannot stop it. The fan whining drives me crazy. I cannot give this a good score. My wife says keep it, but she's not the one crawling up the wall. I will try to fix the old one (if it's the door closing switch issue) and sell this one as nearly new.

This microwave does everything we need and was very competitively priced. Ordering online for in store pickup was very easy and efficient.

Thank was a gift to my mom. She loved it. It is much stronger than what she had. You really can’t go wrong with Whirlpool.

What an upgrade over my old Frigidaire. Don’t have to struggle anymore with opening the door.

I was a little disappointed with this product. The inside is half the size of the one I had and I’m very disappointed in that I don’t recall seeing the inside dimensions when I ordered it. also, it’s very noisy. Not just when the fan is on but just when it actually runs.

The only difference I find with 15 years old model is now it takes more time to heat maybe because of power efficiency. Not sure yet. Overall a nice product.

Microwave works fine but we were surprised that keys do not light up. Is this a design flaw or is our unit faulty?
