Great microwave with good power. It fit perfect into my old location and wall mounting was simple.

So far so good. A little louder compared to our old Whirlpool microwave.

Haven't gotten it yet, but the brand has its reputation for being to quality/reliable. 40+ with the lowest repairs than any other brand in appliances. That tells you everything you need to know...

I bought a Whirlpool over-the-range microwave 7 months ago, and it’s already having serious issues. Grease somehow got into the internal components and caused damage. When the technician came to inspect it, he couldn’t even explain how it happened, but despite that, Whirlpool refused to cover the repair under warranty. This is a venting microwave, yet it clearly isn’t built to handle normal cooking conditions. Imagine if this were a washing machine and water leaked into the control board, and the manufacturer just shrugged it off as “normal use.” That’s basically what Whirlpool is doing here. I expected better quality and accountability from a brand like this. If a microwave can't even make it through a year of average use, there's a serious design flaw. Worst part is that they try to dodge the issue by blaming everything else, that's a product I can't recommend.

Our old Samsung microwave died and my husband and I were able to install this on our own fairly easily. I would definitely recommend this to a friend. Love the fingerprint resistant feature.

We got this microwave just over two years ago and yesterday it stopped working. Just like that. Two years of normal usage in a two-person household. My husband looked up videos on YouTube and cleaned the sensors. Still nothing. I never bought an extended warranty as I have never had a microwave stop working before even much cheaper makes. Our previous microwave which was going strong when we replaced it was GE. I had hard good things about Whirlpool and thought this would be a good make. The controls are harder to use but that is not a deal breaker. Whirlpool's customer service is only from eight to six pm. during the week. Hullo! People work and we cant call Customer Service and sit on hold for an hour during working hours. Our super looked at the microwave and said the door panel could be replaced. All I know is I am never buying anything from Whirlpool again. I am very disappointed. This was not a cheap purchase and I expected good quality. I should have stuck to GE.

This is my third Microwave after replacing with different brands that we tried for two times but did not last longer so decided to try this. So far no issue and hopefully it will last longer that the other.

It works as good as the other one we replaced. Only thing wrong with this is the settings don't light up. We didn't make sure of that before we bought this one, so that is our fault.

Product itself is perfect. Salesperson sold me black instead of stainless. I didn’t know until it was home and unpacked. Not what I wanted, but it matched

Work well for something at this price and make my kitchen nicer. Love it.

I was worried it might look big over the oven, but it is beautiful. I love that it is optional to be tiered on the inside and I feel like everything is heated up evenly and thorough. Super happy!!!

Light burned out within months of purchase. I replaced bulb now it doesn't turn off. Was told needs new board

The installation on this was a little tricky because the template didnt seem perfect but was good enough with a little effort. the other downer is the suction for the fan doesnt seem to be as strong as promised. cooking works great though.

Nice Microwave. Easy to use and clean. I got 4 and half years out of my last whirlpool that I'm replacing with this one hope to get the same or more years.

The turntable rumbles. Not enough wheels to turn the plate quietly. It has 1800 w power, but it takes longer time to heat my food compared to my 1200w microwave. The timer is not extremely loud and sounds off once and only once. So if you were using the timer for something in the range, you better stick close by because once is all you got to hear it. Very dissatisfied.

Quiet operation, but maybe a little too quiet. The volume on the timer is soft and may go unnoticed. Otherwise it looks great and the energy saver feature is a big plus.

The only problem that we have is that the over the stove light sits up against the wall. Throwing light on the back of the cooktop and the wall, instead of the whole cooking surface. I would have placed the light in the front of the unit instead of the back.

Nothing special about this microwave - works like any other one in same wattage. My only complaint: it has been a year and I still don't know how to work the defrost function. But that's on me, I prefer things to make sense without having to read a manual.

Works great. Worth the price. The only thing I don’t like is that you can see your fingerprints on the buttons and are always having to clean it but that comes with having stainless steel appliances.

My above the range microwave was intermittently not working so I bought this one and it has worked fine. I don't need a whole lot of function as I heat water, warm up dishes and make popcorn. Functions great so far.
