I needed an upgrade and this microwave is exactly what I needed. My old one broke down after 10 years. RIP. I saw this one on special and went for it. It fit perfectly and it heats up fast.

The whirlpool takes about 20% more cook time to attain the same temp as my Bosch did. It sets 1” lower than my Bosch did and the light is positioned a couple inches from the wall. When you compare the 2 units, the Bosch lights are spread about 8” inside the edge on both left and right and about 4” to 6” back from the front edge. The bulbs were LED 60w equivalent each. The Whirlpool has a single bulb a few inches from the wall and centered. It is a G9 socket, being phased out soon. The halogen bulb gets extremely hot, to a point, if left on the cabinets on either side raise 15 degrees! When I weigh the lighting and additional cook time, I give the microwave a B-
