I already had this microwave in one of my houses, and never had any issues. I would say though that it’s a big microwave so make sure to install it properly.

Whirlpool has let me down before, and no exception with this above the range microwave. Simple to use, even sitting the clock was easy. Very spacious capacity as well. I bought this one for my mom, but I want now. :)

Whirlpool appliances have been consistently reliable for us for over a decade, and this basic microwave is the same. It is easy to use. I like the 30 sec button and the popcorn button. Also worth getting familiar with the defrosting settings for frozen meat and stuff. Pretty good, reliable microwave. Pretty straightforward.

Finger Print Resistant (so it always looks good) and packs a wallop! This over the range microwave is a power house, defrost cycle is amazing and cooks 5 strips of bacon in 2 1/2 to 3 min, (my wife likes her bacon more well done). Quiet when working (wish I could say that about my kids, HAHA) and does a nice job as a range hood. I wish I had gotten it sooner.

It’s a great little microwave. I wish it was stainless interior instead of white. We got it to replace our over the stove microwave. Had to change the vent so it would vent outside. The light underneath is positioned a little too far back because it hits the top back of my stove. The on button is an arrow and stop is an x. The instructions were scant.

Self installed this over the oven microwave. Pretty staight forward. Looks and works great.

Overall very happy. Large, easy to clean. Simple efficient button controls. Works well. ONLY complaint. Supposed to be FINGER PRINT resistant stainless steel. There are many more fingerprints than on our NON fingerprint resistant stainless steel dishwasher which gets a lot of use. Don't understand that. But overall very happy.

Stylish and perfect size for people who use a microwave for more than just reheating. Love the pre-programmed buttons. And it softens butter to perfection...a problem with some microwaves.

Our previous Maytag microwave/hood finally gave out after 18+ years and we wanted a straightforward replacement microwave that wasn’t loaded with bells and whistles. This Whirlpool microwave/hood has been just perfect! We love it!

Great value. Only downside is if you're short it's hard to see in because it sits higher than our older above range micro and there aren't express buttons for 1 min etc...only +30sec, and food specific buttons.

This microwave is great. It looks very nice and cooks the food great. Once the fan kicked on and I was confused and then I read that if you are cooking on the stovetop the vent fan may come on to prevent damage. So, I thought that this was a great feature. My old microwave cracked probable for that reason. This microwave has a lot of room inside without looking like that on the exterior.

The "Whirlpool - 1.7 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave - Stainless steel" fits well in my kitchen. It is an all contemporary-looking steel finish microwave. Unlike my earlier dull-white microwave this is very easy to use, light touch button-operated device. The buttons/programs are all easy to use self-explanatory. Definitely recommended if you want to upgrade your kitchen on a budget.
