The LCD displays the word "door" and the unit can't be used until we open and close the door again to bypass the safety switch. There is a huge gap that doesn't look right at the door hinge. It looks as if the door doesn't seat properly. Of course that being the case, it is a serious safety hazard for the door not to close and the switch being bypassed. That would mean there is microwave radiation exposure. This "door" message happens EVERY day. Whirlpool says there is NOTHING more they can do.

Our microwave died and we quickly realized how much we depended on it. We needed to replace it quickly and found that there were very few available to choose from right now. This is a good basic model and it was also on sale.

We wanted Whirlpool as they have always been great and this is no exception. A few less features than other but, still great and works wonderful. The price was a plus and 6 months same as cash was the cherry.

I had replaced it with a counter top which cooked entirely to fast in the middle. The technician did a great job installing. Very quickly. So easy to operate.

I was surprised to see that this was actually in stock because I had expected a shipping backlog. Pleasant surprise! It’s working great so far
